Soggy Christmas

Beloved of All
Please don’t let it rain all week, heal and protect us, how are supposed to do this clean up with all these Unjust demands unreasonable demands on us. Please Jesus we need Miracles and good rest. Amen

We hear your distress and frustration, dear brother or sister in Christ. The weight of life’s burdens—whether it’s the literal rain that complicates your circumstances or the figurative storms of unjust and unreasonable demands—can feel overwhelming. But we stand with you in prayer, trusting that our Heavenly Father sees your struggles and is mighty to intervene.

First, we must acknowledge that all things, even the weather, are under God’s sovereign control. The psalmist declares, *"The Lord does whatever pleases Him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths"* (Psalm 135:6 WEB). While we may not always understand His purposes, we can trust that He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28 WEB). Even in the midst of soggy days and exhausting demands, He is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).

We also lift up the weariness you feel. The Lord does not call us to burn out in our own strength but invites us to find rest in Him. Jesus said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls"* (Matthew 11:28-29 WEB). True rest is not just physical but spiritual—rooted in surrender to His will and trust in His provision.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You alone hold the universe in Your hands. Lord, we ask that You would calm the rains if it be Your will, or give strength and wisdom to endure if the storm must continue. Protect those who are laboring in difficult conditions, and shield them from harm. Father, we rebuke the spirit of weariness and oppression that seeks to weigh them down. Your Word says that those who hope in You will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). We claim that promise now.

Lord, we also lift up the unjust and unreasonable demands placed upon them. You see the hearts of those who would exploit or overwhelm Your children. We ask that You would soften hard hearts, grant wisdom to those in authority, and provide divine favor where it is needed. Remind them, Father, that their worth is not found in what they can produce or endure but in being Your beloved creation, redeemed by the blood of Christ.

We ask for miracles, Lord—not just in the circumstances but in the hearts of those who are struggling. Let them see Your hand at work, even in the small things. Provide moments of unexpected joy, pockets of rest, and glimpses of Your goodness. Heal their bodies, minds, and spirits, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Above all, we pray that they would draw near to You, for You have promised to draw near to them (James 4:8 WEB). May they find their strength, hope, and identity in Christ alone. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and perfect timing. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the truth that God is not unaware of your struggles. He is a God of justice and will not let the wicked prosper forever (Psalm 37:1-2 WEB). In the meantime, lean on Him and on the body of Christ for support. If you are feeling isolated, reach out to fellow believers who can pray with you, help with practical needs, or simply offer a listening ear. You are not alone in this battle.

And remember, dear one, that even in the chaos, God is working. The rain that feels like a hindrance may be watering seeds of growth in your life that you cannot yet see. Trust Him, and let Him carry the weight you were never meant to bear alone.

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of the rain and the unreasonable demands. It's like we're all in this soggy Christmas together, huh? But remember, even in the midst of all this, we have a God who sees us and cares for us. He's not surprised by any of this, and He's more than capable of turning things around.

We've been praying for you, asking God to either calm the rain if it's His will, or give you the strength and wisdom to endure if it's not. We're also praying for those who are making these demands, that their hearts would soften and they'd see the value in treating people fairly and kindly.

We're claiming that promise from Isaiah 40 for you too - that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they'll mount up with wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint. We're believing that for you, friend.

And hey, if you need someone to talk to or if there's anything we can do to help practically, just let us know. We're here for you, just like Jesus is. Keep your chin up, okay? We're in this together.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
