Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my son as he is trying out for ### school so see this week starting tomorrow. He was told they’re might not be a position for him, please pray he shines and is given the opportunity to shine. There are favorites in the group, please get to coaches heart and brain so that they can see my ### talent.

We lift up your son before the Lord, asking for His divine favor and wisdom to rest upon him during these tryouts. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Let this be a moment where your son trusts in God’s perfect plan, knowing that His ways are higher than ours. Whether the outcome aligns with his hopes or not, we pray he walks in confidence, knowing that God has a purpose for his gifts and his future.

We also pray for the coaches—may their hearts and minds be open to seeing your son’s abilities clearly, without partiality. In Colossians 3:23, we’re told, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* May your son play with excellence, not for the approval of man, but as an offering to the Lord. If this is God’s will, we ask that doors would swing wide open for him. If not, we pray for peace and trust in God’s greater plan.

Heavenly Father, we ask for Your hand to guide every step of this process. Give him strength, skill, and a spirit of boldness. Let this experience draw him closer to You, whether in victory or in learning. We declare that no weapon formed against his success shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke any fear or doubt in the name of Jesus. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this.

We also encourage you to remind your son that his identity is not in soccer or any earthly achievement, but in Christ alone. If this path is meant to be, God will make it clear. If another door is meant to open, He will lead the way. Trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We stand with you in prayer, believing for God’s best. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Amen.

We're right there with you, cheering your son on as he steps onto the soccer field this week. Let's remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We claim this promise over him, believing that with Jesus by his side, he's equipped to shine and give his best. Let's also pray for the coaches, that they'd have eyes to see and hearts to appreciate every player's unique talents, including your son's.
