So upset

We hear the weariness in your cry, and we stand with you in the battle against the schemes of the enemy. The devil does indeed seek to distract, confuse, and exhaust God’s children, keeping them trapped in cycles of frustration and despair. But we declare that Jesus has already won the victory! The Bible tells us, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10 WEB). The enemy has no authority over those who are in Christ, his power is broken, and his tactics are exposed.

First, we must rebuke the spirit of confusion and frustration in the name of Jesus. The Word says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). We take authority over every lie, every distraction, and every attempt to keep you from walking in the peace and purpose God has for you. The devil may try to run you in circles, but we declare that you will not be moved. You are anchored in Christ, and His truth will set you free.

Now, let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We thank You that You are our refuge, our strength, and our deliverer. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of confusion, frustration, and weariness that has been sent to distract and discourage Your child. We break every cycle of the enemy in Jesus’ name! Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to see the path You have set before them. Give them clarity, wisdom, and discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and to walk in the victory You have already secured. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your joy be their strength. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned. You are their shield, their fortress, and their strong tower. We thank You, Lord, that You are working all things together for their good, even when they cannot see it. Strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and remind them that You are always with them. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."

We also encourage you to stand firm on the promises of God. The enemy wants you to focus on the chaos, but God calls you to fix your eyes on Him. "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You; because he trusts in You" (Isaiah 26:3 WEB). Spend time in God’s Word, meditate on His promises, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. The devil may try to keep you busy, but you serve a God who is greater than all his schemes.

If there are specific areas where you feel the enemy is attacking, whether in your mind, your relationships, your work, or your walk with God, bring those before the Lord in prayer. He is faithful to deliver and restore. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

Lastly, remember that your battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil. "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11 WEB). Stand firm in the truth of God’s Word, hold fast to your faith, and do not grow weary in doing good. The enemy may try to run you in circles, but you are running the race set before you with endurance, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us" (Hebrews 12:1 WEB).

You are not alone in this fight. We stand with you, and more importantly, God stands with you. Keep pressing into Him, and watch as He turns every attempt of the enemy into a testimony of His faithfulness.

We hear the weariness in your words, feeling like you’re running in circles can be exhausting and deeply frustrating. It’s easy to feel like the enemy is using the chaos just to wear you out, and you’re not alone in that. When we get stuck in a cycle of busyness and confusion, sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is just stop. Not because the pressures disappear, but because pausing with Jesus can break the momentum of the runaround and give us a clear next step.

It might help to take a few minutes today with a trusted friend or prayer partner and simply name the specific things that feel like a never-ending loop. Then, ask Jesus to show you which one He wants you to release to Him first, not to figure it all out, but to trust Him with the outcome. You don’t have to push through every detail right now; you can lay the whole tangled mess at His feet and let His peace guard your heart and mind.

Lord Jesus, we come with this heavy, spinning feeling and ask You to quiet the noise. Cut through the confusion and give Your child a clear sense of Your presence and direction. Guard them from the enemy’s schemes to distract and exhaust, and grant a deep, steady peace that replaces this upset. Show them one step forward, and help them to rest in You for the rest. We ask this in Your name, amen.

The devil would whisper that your ears are closed, that you are abandoned to endless wandering. That is the arrow of despair, and it is a lie from the pit. Nature’s dim eyes see only confusion and every day new straits, but the eye of faith looks beyond and beholds deliverance already wrought. Your feeling of going in circles is the carnal sense, seeing no end; but God declares, “I have found a ransom.” The clock of mercy has struck the hour of your deliverance, it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He brought them forth; He makes their deliverance effectual. Rest your soul upon Him.

Your present agitation is itself the stirring of the Spirit, crying out for the finished work of Christ. You have been delivered from the guilt of sin, and your very distress over this runaround proves you are no stranger to the sanctifying work that comes from the same heavenly source. The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance is already loosed. He has chastened you, but you shall not die; you shall live and declare the works of the Lord. This very trial is storing up in you a theme for song, a deeper note of gratitude for the table He prepares in the presence of the circling foe. You have peace within your borders through the blood of the Lamb; the enemy is overthrown. Therefore, cease from your own strivings, for deliverance is solely by the power of God. The ransom is found, the pit is shut, and you are brought forth with enrichment, that you may declare His praise in Zion.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The devil indeed loves to set us running in circles, for he knows that a soul distracted and wearied can scarcely lift itself to heaven. But take heart: this very turmoil, when met with watchfulness, becomes a furnace to refine you. Continue steadfast in prayer, not wandering or drowsy, but with a sober mind and constant thanksgiving. For prayer is no small weapon, yet it must be joined to an alert spirit. Do not say you have no need of help; even Paul sought the prayers of the saints. But neither lean wholly on others while you yourself sleep; keep your own lamp burning.

The enemy wants you to think you are trapped in some endless cycle, but Christ has shattered every such chain. He has led captivity captive and preaches deliverance to captives. When the assault rages, flee to almsgiving and mercy; for as water quenches fire, so alms blot out great sins, and they give boldness to your prayer. Let your good deeds be done not for human eyes but for God alone, and He who sees in secret will reward you openly.

This trial is fuel for the fire of your faith. Hope lightens the load, love makes the labor sweet, and the Spirit aids your weakness. Do not rage like one who has lost all shame, but stand as a wrestler who grows hardy through tribulation. Help one another in the struggle, for a brother aided by a brother is a fortified city. Hinder whatever leads toward hell, and fix your gaze on the unspeakable gift of Christ, who is strong and mighty in battle. He will break this circle and set your feet on solid ground.

The deep frustration you feel, that exhausting runaround, is something Scripture understands well. It calls it a vexation of spirit. You are not just a body with emotions; you are a spiritual being. When your spirit is not filled and anchored in Christ, life inevitably feels like a cycle of emptiness. The enemy would love to keep you right there, chasing your tail on a purely human level, because he knows that denial of your spiritual nature is the root of all frustration. But Jesus gives the true diagnosis and the only cure. He stands in the middle of that chaos and says to your spirit, "Come to me and drink." The thirst you have is for God Himself, and only He can fill that void and break the cycle.

When you feel trapped in this runaround, do not simply fight the chaos in your own strength. There is a divine pattern that turns the very traps of the enemy into instruments of good. The enemy means to exhaust you with evil intentions, but God is always working behind the scenes to bring about your salvation and His purpose. The key is to stop engaging the enemy on his terms. Submit yourself to God. These mental and spiritual runarounds are the enemy’s lie, enticing you to believe fulfillment is somewhere outside of God’s path. You resist him not by chasing his arguments in circles, but by making a firm, conscious stand. Say no to the irritability and the mental spiraling, and then turn. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. What you feed your mind in those moments of attack is critical. Fill it with truth, not with the devil’s noise.

Consider the desperate mother whose daughter was tormented. She did not try a complex strategy. She simply fell at Jesus’ feet and pleaded for Him to cast the devil out. That is your position right now. You are not facing a logistical problem you need to untangle; you are facing a spiritual harassment that needs a word of authority from the Lord. The enemy can make a person feel like the path is crooked and nothing can be made straight. But Jesus Christ has authority over every unclean spirit. With a word, He brings peace. Ask Him directly to rebuke this spirit of confusion and frustration. Tell Him plainly, "Jesus, cast this out. Set my mind and my path straight."

Do not give any place to the devil. You might feel you have a "right" to be upset or anxious, but that is a seat you are offering him in your life. You have lived long enough in that turmoil. You are a child of God now, so learn to live in the lowliness and meekness of Christ, and do not give the enemy a foothold. The pattern is simple and powerful: you recognize the attack for what it is, you resist it by drawing near to God, and then you rejoice in the victory you already have in Jesus Christ over every power that comes against you. He will free you, and your house will be found still, with the devil gone out.
