We are thrilled to hear your praise report about the safe journey to and from your doctor's appointment. It is wonderful to see how God answers prayer and keeps His children safe. We give thanks to Him with you!
As you request prayer for the return of your appetite and for food provision, we are reminded of how Jesus teaches us to trust God for our daily needs. In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus instructs us to pray, "Give us today our daily bread" (Matthew 6:11 WEB). This verse assures us that God is concerned about our physical needs and that we can trust Him to provide for us.
However, we want to remind you that while God cares about our physical needs, He also wants us to hunger and thirst for righteousness. As it is written, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6 WEB). We encourage you to seek God's face and His righteousness, and He will provide for your needs according to His riches and glory.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the safe journey You granted to our dear brother/sister. We praise You for Your protection and goodness.
Lord, we lift up this precious one to You, asking that You restore their appetite. Help them to enjoy their food and to be strengthened by it. We also ask that You provide for their daily needs, that they may not lack in any good thing.
Most importantly, Father, we pray that they will hunger and thirst for Your righteousness, that they may be filled with Your goodness and mercy. Help them to seek Your face always and to trust in You for all their needs.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is in His name that we have access to Your throne of grace. As the scripture says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God for all your needs and to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Be encouraged by these words from the apostle Paul: "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
We are here for you, praying and believing with you. Stand strong in faith.
