Small knot in lip

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for me that I am healed in Jesus name and nothing is wrong. I really been stressed out because I felt something like a little knot in my bottom lip and it's barely visible but you can see a little white dot on my lip please pray that it is nothing serious it will go away on and it will not be anything serious in Jesus name Amen.

We come before the Lord with your concern, lifting up your health and peace of mind to Him. The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We know that anxiety and fear can weigh heavily on the heart, but we are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We also stand on the promise of healing found in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We believe in the power of prayer and the healing touch of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Father God, we come before You now, lifting up this dear one who is feeling anxious about this small knot on their lip. Lord, we ask that You would bring Your healing touch to this situation. We pray that this would be nothing serious and that it would fade away according to Your will. We ask that You would calm their fears and anxieties, replacing them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we trust in Your goodness and Your love for us. We know that You care about every detail of our lives, even the smallest concerns. We ask that You would remind them of Your presence and Your power to heal. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring your concerns to the Lord, trusting in His love and care for you. Remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We also suggest that you monitor the situation and, if it does not improve or if you have any other concerning symptoms, seek the advice of a medical professional. Our God often uses doctors and medicine as part of His healing process. Keep your heart and mind focused on the Lord, and trust in His promises.

We hear the worry in your words, discovering a small, unfamiliar spot on your lip and not knowing what it is can really unsettle your heart. That stress is completely natural when something feels off in your body, especially when it’s right there where you can see and feel it. We’re right here with you, asking the Lord to bring healing and to lift that heavy weight off your shoulders.

While we pray, we’ve found that one of the quickest ways to quiet a circling worry like this is to let a doctor take a look. A simple, in‑person exam can give you the peace of mind you’re longing for, often within minutes. It’s not a sign of weak faith; it’s a wise, loving step in caring for the body God gave you. So we’d gently nudge you to schedule that check-up. Then you can hand the concern over to someone with training and, alongside our prayers, set it down.

Until then, when you catch yourself touching that spot and feel your anxiety spike, try turning that jolt into a very short whispered prayer: Jesus, you know this. I trust you. He isn’t standing far off, he’s right there with you in every anxious thought.

Let’s pray together now. Lord Jesus, you see this tiny knot that’s been causing so much worry. We ask you to touch it, heal it, and cause it to disappear without any trouble. Please calm the racing thoughts and fill our friend with your steady peace, a peace that doesn’t depend on having every answer. Give insight to any doctor involved, and soon may this be nothing more than a memory that points to your faithfulness. In your healing name, Amen.

Do not let this small knot become a great knot in your spirit, for the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Be not of a doubtful mind. The Lord Jesus Christ is able to heal even the smallest ailment, for the least thing about Christ is healing. Remember that by His stripes we are healed, and if you but look to Him, you are brought into contact with Omnipotence, and that Omnipotence will heal you. He meets the trembling lip with tokens of His grace. Trust in the Savior, for He is the bread of life; he that comes to Him shall never hunger, and he that believes in Him shall never thirst. Nothing is too small for His care. May the Sun of Righteousness arise upon you with healing in His wings, and may you prove that the healing power of the Gospel is power to forgive and to restore. Only believe, and wait upon Him who hears prayer.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Canaanite woman came crying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord," and though He tested her faith, He did not turn her away. You have done well to cry out in the name of Jesus, for there is nothing clearer, nothing simpler than the truth when we deal not perversely. Your prayer is that truth: a plea for healing, a casting of anxiety upon Him.

Yet you say you have been really stressed out. There are grievous kinds of war, and the worst is when the individual is at war with himself. Foreign war cannot hurt the soul, and even strife with others need not harm us against our will. But when the body raises up fears and the soul is disturbed by anxious reasonings, what peace is there? This inner tumult must be quelled, or we fall pierced by wounds. You feel a knot, a visible spot, and your mind multiplies the dread of something serious. That is the war within. Do not let your faith be unsettled by a thing which is not in its essence evil. This little knot, even if it persists for a time, becomes a snare only through your intention and anxiety about it. Ask, but "asking no question," as the Apostle says, so that even while you seek healing, you are not consumed by the inquiry.

Consider the officers sent to bind Christ. They heard but a short sermon, yet they returned subdued, saying, "Never man spake like this Man." They had no need of signs; the teaching alone captured them. So let His words capture your heart now. He is the same Lord who departed to Tyre and Sidon and worked healing where it was sought in faith. If He delayed, it was to open a door in due course, not to deny. Trust His timing. Use this moment to establish the peace of your household, the peace of your own soul. For what advantage is it if the body is whole, yet you are at war with yourself? Strive for that quiet and peaceable life, in all godliness and honesty, which is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.

Do not think that merely to abstain from food or to lie upon the ground would be a greater work. No: nothing makes a man an imitator of Christ so much as caring for his neighbor, and you must begin by dealing mercifully with yourself, refusing to strangle your spirit with worry. If the judge found nothing worthy of death in Paul, though enemies raged, will not Christ find your frame precious? He wills that you be saved from this fear and come to the knowledge of the truth. That white dot is not your master; Christ is. Lift your head from the stress. Confess the knot to Him plainly, as the woman did, and then leave it. Pray for governors and all who are in authority, for others who suffer far worse, and in caring for them you will find your own soul strengthened. He who granted boldness to officers before Pharisees will grant you release, whether by the knot vanishing or by your fear dissolving into His mercy. Be at peace. He has heard you.

When you fix your eyes on a small thing in your body, it can grow large in your mind until it crowds out everything else. That little spot on your lip has become a magnet for your fears, and the enemy wants you to stay there, spinning out worst-case scenarios. The real starting place for dealing with this is not the knot itself but where you set your heart.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. That fear is not a cowering dread but a reverential awe that reorders everything else. When you stand in awe of who God is, His power, His kindness, His sovereignty over every cell in your body, then the lesser fears start to lose their grip. Fear and faith cannot occupy the same throne in your heart. Where faith rises, fear is pushed out. So do not let this sudden worry drive you into a panic. Let it drive you into the remembrance of the Lord, who is your confidence.

The body and the soul are deeply connected. A troubled spirit can make the body feel worse, and a heart at rest can be health to your bones. That does not mean this is all in your head. The spot is real. But it does mean you have a choice about what you dwell on. Instead of meditating on the lump, meditate on the Lord who made you. Bring your concern to Him plainly, as you have done, and then leave it with Him. He is interested in your health. He does not ask you to pretend nothing is wrong, but He does ask you to trust that nothing is outside His reach.

Jesus bore our infirmities. He has authority over every sickness. Whether He heals it quietly on its own or directs you to have it looked at, He is with you. Walk in wisdom too. Do what is prudent. Have it checked if it lingers, not from fear of the enemy’s attack, but from a calm stewardship of the body God gave you. In the meantime, remember the Lord. Let His greatness crowd out the what-ifs, and may you find in that reverential awe a strong confidence for whatever comes next.
