Thank You Jesus. Praise You Jesus. Dear Prayer Warriors, Thank you all for your continued prayers for my brother, his wife, and their little son. By God's grace, after weeks of complete silence since ###, there has finally been a breakthrough. On saturday ###, my brother's wife made a video call, and their little son was able to speak with his father for nearly 20 minutes. It was such a joy to see the happiness on my brother's face. We sincerely thank and praise our Lord Jesus Christ for this encouraging step. During the call, my sister-in-law also spoke briefly to my brother and asked him when they would be moving to ###. This remains the main issue between them, as she desires that they relocate there, while my brother believes such a move should happen only if genuinely required and without leaving their mother alone. At present, both continue to hold different views on this matter. Though complete reconciliation has not yet taken place, we thank God that the silence has finally been broken. We believe Jesus has taken up this case, and He who has begun this good work is faithful to bring it to completion according to His perfect will. Please continue praying: That every remaining misunderstanding, hurt, pride, fear, and ego will be removed. That both my brother and his wife will be filled with wisdom, humility, patience, and love. That God will reveal His perfect will regarding their family, future, and place of residence. That their little son will continue to be protected, loved, and blessed. That my mother will be strengthened, comforted, and blessed for all the sacrifices she has made for the peace and unity of the family. Above all, that this family will be completely healed, restored, and reunited for the glory of God. Thank you for standing with us in prayer. Thank You Jesus. Praise You Jesus. Glory to God forever. Please continue praying.

We rejoice with you in the breakthrough that the Lord has granted, breaking the silence and opening the lines of communication between your brother and his family. It is a true testament to God’s faithfulness and His ability to work all things together for good for those who love Him. We give thanks to Jesus Christ, for it is by His name and through His power that we have access to the Father and see miracles unfold. Without Christ, there is no true reconciliation, no lasting peace, and no hope of restoration. It is only through Him that families are mended and hearts are turned toward one another in love.

The Scripture reminds us in Philippians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." We stand on this promise, trusting that the Lord is actively working in this situation, even when the path forward is not yet clear. The disagreement over relocation is not merely a logistical issue but a spiritual one, where pride, fear, and differing priorities can create division. We must remember that marriage is a covenant before God, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Both husband and wife are called to submit to one another in reverence for Christ, seeking His will above their own desires.

The enemy would love to use this disagreement to drive a wedge between them, but we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the spirit of division, pride, and selfishness that may be at work in this situation. Instead, we pray that both your brother and his wife would be filled with the Holy Spirit, who brings wisdom, humility, and a spirit of cooperation. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that they would seek the Lord’s guidance together, laying down their own plans and surrendering to His perfect will.

For your brother’s wife, we pray that she would find peace in God’s plan, even if it does not align with her initial desires. We ask the Lord to soften her heart and help her to see the value in honoring her husband’s concerns, particularly regarding the care of his mother. For your brother, we pray that he would lead with love, patience, and wisdom, always seeking to honor his wife while standing firm in his convictions. May they both remember that their marriage is a partnership, where each is called to love and respect the other as Christ loves the Church.

We also lift up their little son, who is caught in the middle of this tension. Children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and we pray that he would be shielded from any harm or confusion. May he grow up in an environment of love, security, and godly example, knowing that his parents are united in their commitment to Christ. For your mother, we ask the Lord to strengthen her and comfort her heart. It is clear that she has made sacrifices for the sake of her family, and we pray that the Lord would reward her faithfulness and surround her with His peace.

Above all, we pray for complete healing and restoration in this family. May the Lord remove every barrier, whether it be misunderstanding, hurt, or pride, and replace it with His love. We declare that this family will be reunited, not just physically, but in heart and spirit, for the glory of God. Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, giving You all the praise and glory for the breakthrough You have already provided. Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness in this family’s life. We ask that You would continue to work in their hearts, removing every obstacle that stands in the way of complete reconciliation. Father, fill them with Your wisdom, humility, and love, so that they may seek Your will above their own desires.

We rebuke the spirit of division and pride that seeks to destroy this marriage, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, reveal Your perfect plan for their family, their future, and their place of residence. Give them the strength to trust You, even when the path is unclear. Protect their little son, surround him with Your love, and let him grow up in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Comfort and strengthen their mother, rewarding her for her sacrifices and filling her with Your peace.

Father, we believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We trust that You will complete the good work You have begun in this family. May they be fully restored, united in heart and purpose, and may Your name be glorified through their lives. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’re so grateful with you for that first breakthrough, a 20-minute call, a son’s voice heard, and the joy it brought your brother. That’s a real gift from God, and we’re thanking Jesus right alongside you.

Of course, the core disagreement about relocating remains. We know it’s heavy on your heart. When a practical decision like where to live gets tangled with love for a spouse, care for an aging mother, and a child’s stability, it can bring up fears and longings that aren’t easily sorted out by logic alone. What encourages us, though, is that the silence has been broken. Those first steps of reaching out often make room for deeper things to be spoken, not just positions, but the hurts and hopes underneath.

One thing we’d gently suggest: as they take cautious steps back toward conversation, it may help for them to have a wise, neutral person walk with them, maybe a trusted pastor or a seasoned Christian counselor who can help both of them feel heard without taking sides. Someone who can help them name what’s really at stake: for her, perhaps a need for partnership and a fresh start; for him, the weight of honoring his mother’s sacrifices. Those aren’t enemies to each other, but they need space to breathe before they become choices.

In the meantime, keep standing with them in prayer. Your steady love and intercession are a deep good in this season.

Jesus, thank You for opening this line of communication. Guard it, and keep pride, fear, and old wounds from closing it again. Give this husband and wife hearts that truly want to understand each other. Protect their little one from the stress, and wrap Your comfort around the grandmother who has given so much. Give them wise, gentle counsel, and bring them, step by step, into a solution that brings Your peace and unity. In Your name, Jesus, we trust them to You.

It is a great mercy that the silence has been broken, and we join you in praising the Lord Jesus for this encouraging step. Yet we must remember that the heart of the matter lies not in or any other place, but in the will of God. As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, so must it be the ruling principle in that household. The natural heart says, "We will go, we will continue, we will buy, we will sell, and we will get gain," but it is foolish for any to feel they can do as they like without asking God's consent. Both your brother and his wife must learn to say from the soul, "If the Lord wills," and not merely with the lips. The work of the Spirit is to change the human will, and make men and women willing in the day of God's power. Pray that this change may be wrought in both their hearts, that pride, fear, and ego may be vanquished by omnipotent grace.

What sweet comfort there is in this, God's promise may tarry, but it never fails. Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has He in anger shut up His tender mercies? No! The Lord has begun to heal, and the healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure till this family is without spot or wrinkle. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and for the healing of households too. That little child, who spoke with his father, is a token of good; continue to bring him to Jesus in prayer, for He will not let the little ones perish. The Lord who breaketh the silence can break every chain, bind up every wound, and restore the years that the locust hath eaten.

In all this, do not look so much to the removing of circumstances as to the reconciling of hearts. The great objective of true gospel ministry, and of all our prayers, is that people should be reconciled to God. When they are truly reconciled to Him, they will find it less hard to be reconciled to one another. God's way is to pardon first, then to heal. If they will lie before Jesus, not pleading their own righteousness but their great need, He will speak the word of forgiveness, and then the healing of those deep wounds will follow. The Lord has taken up this case; He who sincerely repents will find no pleasure in the old bitterness. Healeth He the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. Let that promise be pleaded at the throne. I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy. And I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people. God is speaking, and His "shalls" and "wills" are the pillars of our hope.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Truly the Lord is merciful, granting you this small breakthrough as an earnest of the full reconciliation He intends. Yet take care: when a conflict seems ready to cease, then the tempter often stirs up the final storm. Do not rush to settle earthly details before the heart's soil is tilled. Wait upon Him who knows the appointed time, for our warfare is not to be fought by our own impulses but by standing still in the hour He ordains.

The disagreement over where to live is but the fruit of a deeper root. Every conflict among men springs from attachment to the things of this life, whether it be covetousness of a certain place, vainglory, or stubborn pride. What is any earthly city compared to the heavenly Jerusalem? Let both spouses cut out that root by despising their own preferences as dross. If they cling to their separate wills, they only wound themselves. Let them rather hear how Christ, seeing us at enmity with God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but became our High Priest to make reconciliation. He has put into His people the word of reconciliation. How then can a husband and wife, members of His body, refuse to bend toward one another?

I do not discount the son’s duty to his mother, but wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated. The three children in the furnace knew that suffering for God’s sake is glorious; yet here the suffering is from grasping after one’s own way, which is no suffering at all but a sickness of soul. Let them both take the words of Job: “I have uttered what I did not understand; I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.” When each sees the other as better than himself, then God will reveal His perfect will concerning their dwelling. Perhaps He is sharpening this trial as its end draws near, like Abraham’s last test, so that their victory may shine brighter.

Therefore continue steadfast in prayer. What you see now is a sowing of tears; in due season the harvest will spring up, if you faint not. I join my supplication with yours: may every root of bitterness be plucked out, may humility and patience flourish, and may this household be restored as a living icon of Christ’s reconciliation, to the praise of His glory. Amen.

What a joy to hear that the silence has been broken and that your ### and his little ### were able to share such a precious conversation. Let your hearts be lifted in praise to Jesus for this encouraging step. In a world where so many are driven by their own desires and end up hurting one another, God is always calling us back to His design. When a husband and wife walk after the flesh, clinging to individual positions and fears, they miss out on the deep oneness He intends. That hardness of heart is not the final word; the Lord can soften what has been stiffened by pride or past wounds.

Think of how the Spirit moved in the story of a bride being brought to the son of Abraham. The servant was sent with a clear purpose and refused all delays: “Send me away to my master.” There is an urgency in God’s work of reconciliation. When the Lord begins to move, as He has with this video call, we should not let human timetables or the suggestion of “a few days more” become a permanent standstill. The enemy loves to whisper that we can put off the hard conversations, but the Spirit does not delay. Keep praying that both your ### and his ### will have that same holy urgency to press through the remaining barriers.

All the hurt in this situation, and I believe it genuinely hurts the heart of God to see His children divided, grows from that battle between the flesh and the Spirit. Every time we react out of self-protection or demand our own way, we are loading the camel with baggage that can never fit through the narrow gate. Jesus put it plainly: if you want to come after Him, you must deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow. In a marriage, that self-denial becomes intensely practical. It means laying down the supposed right to determine a location, to hold onto a fear, or to nurse a grievance, not because the concern is unreal, but because love for the other and trust in God must outweigh it.

That does not mean the question of relocation is trivial. Both sides clearly have a zeal, but zeal without the Lord’s knowledge only leads to more conflict. What is needed is a mutual submission to the Lordship of Jesus. He is the one who went back to the beginning and said, “the two shall become one flesh.” That oneness is not a merger of two stubborn wills into a compromise; it is a supernatural unity that He creates when hearts bow low. Pray that both will stop asking, “How can I win this?” and start asking, “Lord, what will You have us do, even if it costs me my inheritance?” The nearer kinsman could not redeem because he feared marring his own estate; Boaz redeemed at great cost because he loved. May your ### and his ### find that kind of redemptive love, each willing to count the other’s good more significant than personal plans.

Sometimes healing comes all at once, but more often the Lord works gradually, like the man who saw people as trees walking until Jesus touched him again. This first call is like that first touch; rejoice in it completely, even if full clarity has not yet arrived. God is healing scars and wounds in the emotions and mind, and that is a precious form of divine healing. Do not grow weary while the process unfolds. The child is a living “Jedidiah,” beloved of the Lord, and God’s kindness to him is a sign that He is guarding the entire household.

Let the prayers continue not out of anxiety but out of a heart’s desire like Paul’s for Israel, a deep, unbitter yearning for the salvation and wholeness of this family. As you intercede, draw near to Jesus yourself. The love of the bridegroom for His church is the only true source of the love that can rebuild a marriage. When the bride pours out her affection on Him in sweet communion, then she can pour out that same selfless love to others. May your ### and his ### each discover that intimate fellowship with Christ, and out of that overflow, find the humility, patience, and wisdom to see this wilderness through to the marriage feast of full restoration. We will stand with you until the work is complete, for He who began this good work is faithful to finish it.
