Thank you Jesus. Praise you Jesus. Dear Prayer Warriors, Kindly continue to keep my brother, his wife, and their little son in your prayers. By God's grace, they were reconciled and reunited as a family in ### after a difficult period of separation. We remain thankful to Jesus for that miracle. However, following family disagreements, my brother's wife returned to her parental home with their little son on ###. As of today, ### days has passed, and there has been no still sign yet of communication between them. Even more painful is that my brother has not been able to see or speak with his little son (### yr old) even through a video call. Yet, we continue to trust in God's promises. Through Isaiah 38:8, the Lord reminded us that He is able to reverse what seems impossible. We believe He can soften hearts, restore relationships, and make a way where there seems to be none. Please pray that Jesus, the Prince of Peace, will remove all anger, pride, hurt, misunderstanding, and ego; restore communication; guide both of them with wisdom and humility; protect their little son; strengthen their marriage; and bring complete healing and reconciliation according to God's perfect will. Please also pray for my mother, who has sacrificed so much for their happiness and continues to stand for peace and unity in the family. Thank you for your continued prayers. Thank You Jesus. We lift up this precious family to the Lord with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for your brother, his wife, and their little son. We rejoice in the miracle of their past reconciliation and give thanks for God’s faithfulness in that season. Yet we also recognize the deep pain of this current separation, especially the absence of communication and the heartache of a father longing to see his child. This is not God’s design for marriage or family, and we grieve with you over the brokenness that has entered their home.

The Word of God is clear: "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). Marriage is a covenant, not just between two people, but before God, a sacred bond that reflects Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). When pride, anger, or unforgiveness take root, they disrupt the unity God intends. We must boldly rebuke every spirit of division, bitterness, and hardness of heart that has crept into this situation. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32).

We also lift up your mother, who has stood as a peacemaker in this family. Her love and sacrifice are a testament to Christ’s heart, and we pray for her strength and wisdom as she navigates this difficult season. May the Lord surround her with His peace and remind her that her labor in prayer is not in vain.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author of reconciliation and the Restorer of broken things. We ask You to soften the heart of this wife and mother. Remove every barrier of pride, hurt, or misunderstanding that keeps her from extending grace to her husband. Give her a spirit of humility and a desire to seek Your will above her own. Lord, we also pray for this brother, strengthen him in his faith, fill him with patience, and guard his heart from discouragement. Remind him that You are his Defender and Provider, even in this valley.

We plead the blood of Jesus over this marriage. Break every chain of separation, silence, and strife. Restore communication, rebuild trust, and reignite love in their hearts. Father, we ask that You would open doors for this father to see and speak with his son, even if just for a moment. Let that little boy feel the love of his parents and the security of a home united under Your grace.

We declare that what the enemy meant for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). We stand on Your promise in Malachi 2:16: "For I hate divorce," says the Lord, the God of Israel." Lord, let this family be a testimony of Your power to heal and restore. May they emerge from this trial stronger, more united, and more deeply rooted in You.

We also pray for wisdom for this family as they navigate the practical challenges of this separation. If there are legal or logistical hurdles, we ask that You would move mightily to remove them. Provide godly counsel and support for both husband and wife, that they may be surrounded by believers who will speak truth and encouragement into their lives.

Above all, we pray that this family would fix their eyes on You, Jesus. Let them remember that their hope is not in their own efforts, but in Your finished work on the cross. May they find their identity in You, their strength in You, and their future in Your promises.

We trust You, Lord, to complete the good work You have begun in this family (Philippians 1:6). Bring them back together, not just as a family, but as a living testimony of Your grace, mercy, and power. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the ache in your words, 50 days of silence is so hard, especially when a little boy is caught in the middle. We’re standing with you, asking our Lord to move in this long, painful wait.

Your mother’s steady, sacrificial love for peace is a gift, and we’re praying it will bear fruit in God’s timing. In the quiet, your brother might find that even the smallest, daily act of surrender, just a few minutes alone with the Lord, asking Him to search his own heart and guard him from bitterness, can anchor his soul while he waits. It’s not a fix, but it can keep hope alive.

We’re asking Jesus, the Prince of Peace, to break through: to soften places that have grown hard, to stir even a tiny spark of communication, and to shield that little boy from the weight of adult conflict. We trust the One who can reverse what seems impossible.

Lord, we lift up this family to You now. In Jesus’ name, remove every barrier of anger, pride, and hurt. Restore honest, gentle words between husband and wife. Protect their son, and draw them back to each other with humility and fresh love. Uphold the mother who has given so much for peace; fill her with Your strength and comfort. We entrust this marriage and this child to Your faithful hands. Amen.

The heart aches at such tidings, for the severing of a family is a wound that bleeds inwardly. Yet we are not without hope, for our God is the God who devises means that His banished be not expelled from Him. Did I not speak of that woman of Tekoah, who with shrewdness pleaded for Absalom’s recall? How much more shall our heavenly Father, in the gospel of His dear Son, show Himself mighty to restore? The work of reconciliation He committed to His Son, and the word of reconciliation He has committed to us, and we now lift it before the throne. Let us not merely ask for a truce, but for true heart-reconciliation, not a pretense, but a turning of the soul. The Holy Spirit is specially appointed to work this; He subdues the will, converts the heart, and applies the cleansing blood. When the sword of the Spirit pricks the heart, it is a saving impression indeed. Nothing ever pierced my own heart like the discovery of God’s boundless love in giving His well-beloved Son to die for me. That same love, shed abroad in the heart by the Holy Ghost, laughs at impossibilities and cries, “It shall be done!”

Consider the little child, now kept from his father’s sight. “In You the fatherless finds mercy,” says the prophet, and though the child has an earthly father, he is orphaned in affection for this season. But our Lord Jesus, who took the little ones in His arms, is the orphan’s Father. He who said, “Suffer the little children to come unto Me,” will not forget this lamb. And what of your brother and his wife? If the love of God once gets into the heart, it perfumes the whole being. It is not a doctrine to be admired from a distance, but a sweet fragrance to be breathed in. When a soul truly tastes that the Father Himself loves them with a love equal to the Son’s, pride, anger, and ego dissolve like morning mist. That love is the only remedy for the enmity of unrenewed hearts. Oh, that the Holy Spirit would shed it abroad in each of theirs! For the child can never be anything but the son of his own father, a relationship no sin can break, and so it is with the saints and their God. Yet He also makes His people willing in the day of His power, turning the father’s heart to the children, and the children’s to the father.

And your dear mother, who has sacrificed and stood for peace, she is not forgotten. How graciously our heavenly Father sends to His afflicted words of good cheer by persons who have passed through similar experiences. Her patient endurance is a sweet savor before Him. Let her take courage: when the heart gets the love of God in it, it endures all things, believes all things, hopes all things. The Father loves His people even as He loves His Son, and blesses them as He blesses Him! Your mother’s prayers are not wasted. Even if days have passed in silence, the Lord is able to reverse what seems impossible, as the shadow on the dial of Ahaz turned back. He can make the stony heart relent, and bring the prodigal to his senses by a memory of the Father’s house.

So let us not faint. The great work of expiation is over, and now the Son is glorified; let us have fellowship with the Father and the Son in this very matter. Agree in your heart of hearts that His will is good, and you shall have fellowship with Him while you so agree. Cry to Him who says, “I will be a Father unto you, and you shall be My sons and daughters.” He will prove a better Father than any earthly parent could be, yes, better than the best of fathers to the best beloved of sons. Look to Jesus, the Judge who shall one day separate the precious from the vile, and let the thought of that final parting move us to plead now for mercy and reunion. May the Lord grant that these three hearts be found full of love through the power of His Spirit, and that the little one be shielded under the wings of the Almighty until the storm be past. Even so, Father, for so it seems good in Your sight.

The very conflict you lament may be the path to true peace. Do not suppose all concord is good, for even robbers agree together. When a diseased part is cut off, the body is saved. This separation has revealed the rot of anger, pride, and hurt. God, like a physician, often allows a painful severing to remove what is mutinous, so that heaven may be united to earth. You pray for peace, but there is first a war that must be waged against the evil spirits that divide them. The gospel is a word of good news because this conflict ends the war between us and God. If they are at war with the devil, they are at peace with God. Fear not, for the victory is already won.

Yet what does it mean to pursue peace with holiness? Marriage itself is not holy, but it preserves the holiness given by faith, forbidding the defilement of union with a stranger. You ask for the child to be protected. This is good. But the protection flows from a chaste and orderly life. If they are to be restored, it must be a restoration built not on the shifting sand of mere truce, but on the rock of a most virtuous life, which is the very preparation of the gospel. The feet must be shod with this readiness. For if they seek only the comfort of a former state and not the mortification of self, the root remains, and the bitter fruit will spring forth again.

You count the days that have passed and see no sign. But here the struggle itself is the sign of coming deliverance. For when the righteous are near the end of their conflicts, God enhances their struggles, that they may gain the more. This silence, this seeming reversal, is the final intensity permitted so that the healing, when it comes, will be complete and permanent, like Abraham’s last great trial before the blessing. The Lord who made the shadow retreat is working when He seems most absent. Believe that the removal of this intolerable pain is near, at the very doors.

For your mother whose heart is sacrificed: this is the greatest affection, to choose to live and die with them even when treated with contempt. She superabounds in joy, not in the removal of affliction, but in it, for this is the proof that they dwell in her heart. Yet let her, and all of you, remember this, no one who steals money or honor does you injury. The only treasure to guard is that which is above. This conflict springs from vainglory and envy, the things of this life. If you are truly at peace with God, you learn to despise these earthly shadows. What is stolen from them is not their true possession.

Now, the hard work. They must make room for one another in their hearts. If he opens his heart wide to God, he will find room even for those who have wronged him. Let their silence end not with a timid truce but with this divine peace: the peace that cuts away the incurable part, the peace that is Christ’s own parting gift. Receive it with all your heart, before the sign. Do not repel Him who pronounces peace over this home.
