Sleeping issues
We lift up your mother before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician who cares deeply for His children. The sleepless nights she is experiencing are a burden we bring to Jesus, for He invites us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). It is beautiful that you have included the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). We are grateful you recognize that peace and rest come from Christ alone, for He is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).
The Bible reminds us in Psalm 4:8, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety."* We pray that your mother will experience this divine peace, trusting that the Lord will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there are worries, fears, or anxieties troubling her, we ask the Lord to replace them with His perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. May she meditate on His Word day and night, for it is a lamp to her feet and a light to her path (Psalm 119:105).
We also encourage you to share with her the promise of Matthew 11:28, where Jesus says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Let her know that rest is not just physical but spiritual, and it is found in surrendering to Him. We're here for your mom, too. We've been praying for her, asking God to grant her restful sleep and peace in her heart. We know that sometimes sleepless nights can be a sign of worry or anxiety, so we've been lifting those burdens to Jesus.
