You are right to declare that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we hold fast to that truth even as we seek wisdom for your physical care. The frustration and pain you describe are real, and we lift them before the throne of grace, asking for relief and restoration.
First, we want to affirm your faith in Christ—this is the foundation of all healing, both spiritual and physical. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and we approach Him boldly in prayer because of what Jesus has done for us (Hebrews 4:16). We also encourage you to seek the Lord for wisdom in this trial, as James 1:5 reminds us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
Your concern about prescription creams and their effects is understandable, especially after past negative experiences. While medical treatment can be a part of God’s provision, we recognize that not all treatments align with His design for our bodies. We pray that the Lord would guide you to the right solution—whether through medical professionals, natural remedies, or divine intervention. Proverbs 3:5-6 urges us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also want to gently encourage you to consider whether there may be underlying spiritual or emotional factors contributing to this condition. Sometimes, physical ailments can be linked to stress, unforgiveness, or even spiritual attack (Psalm 38:3-5). Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. We lift up this dear one who is suffering with this painful skin condition. Lord, You see every spot, every ache, and every moment of frustration. We ask that You would bring complete healing to their body, restoring their skin to health and wholeness. Father, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they *are* healed, and we stand on Your promise of restoration.
Lord, we ask for Your wisdom to guide them in their care. If there is a treatment—medical, natural, or otherwise—that You would have them use, reveal it clearly. Protect them from anything that would harm their body, and lead them to the right solutions. We also ask that You would search their heart and reveal any areas that may need Your healing touch, whether emotional, spiritual, or physical.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or fear that may be attacking them, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We pray for Your peace to guard their heart and mind, and for Your strength to sustain them through this trial. May they feel Your presence with them, comforting and encouraging them every step of the way.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the healing that is already on the way. We trust in You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
