We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up Sandra Pavail and her need for medicine. First, we must address a matter of great importance in your prayer. While your heart is clearly burdened for your sister, we must gently correct the mention of "mother Mary" in your request. Scripture is clear that we are to pray to God alone, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that there is no other mediator between God and man except Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul writes in 1 Timothy 2:5, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." We do not pray to or through Mary or any other saint, for Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name alone that we pray.
Now, let us lift Sandra before the Lord with boldness and faith. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit Sandra together in her mother’s womb and knows every cell of her body. We ask that You would pour out Your healing power upon her, strengthening her body and providing the medicine she needs. Lord, we declare that Your Word is true, and we stand on the promise of Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We rebuke sickness and disease in the name of Jesus, and we command every cell in Sandra’s body to align with Your perfect design.
Father, we also ask that You would provide for every practical need surrounding this situation. If there are financial burdens, supply according to Your riches in glory. If there are logistical challenges, open doors that no man can shut. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to meet Sandra’s needs today. Surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We also pray for wisdom for those caring for her, doctors, nurses, and family members. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, and let them be instruments of Your healing. And for those who are interceding on Sandra’s behalf, we thank You for their faith. Stir up even greater faith in them, that they may pray with confidence, knowing that You hear and answer according to Your will.
Lord, we ask all these things not because of our own righteousness, but because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross. It is by His stripes that Sandra is healed, and it is in His name that we pray. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. We trust You, Father, for You are good, and Your mercy endures forever.
To those who are praying alongside us, we encourage you to stand firm in faith. Isaiah 53:5 reminds us, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." This is not just a promise for spiritual healing, but for physical healing as well. Do not grow weary in prayer, but continue to lift Sandra up, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
If there are areas in Sandra’s life or in the lives of those praying for her where sin has taken root, we encourage repentance and turning away from anything that displeases the Lord. James 5:16 tells us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Let us examine our hearts and lives, ensuring that we are walking in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him.
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold in this situation. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We choose to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, trusting that God is working even when we cannot see it. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and run with endurance the race set before us.
