We have received your request and we are bringing ### before the Lord with you, asking for His mercy in Jesus' precious name.
Three years of constant pain in the neck is a heavy burden to carry, and God sees her suffering and hears your prayer for her. We are asking Him to grant her relief, to guide those who care for her, to heal what is injured, and to give her rest from pain.
Scripture teaches us that suffering, when it comes, can be a place where God does a deep work in the soul. Christ Himself learned obedience through what He suffered and was made perfect through sufferings, not for His own need but to become the author of salvation for us and to show us the way. In the same way, our afflictions do not profit us by themselves, but the way we bear them matters. It depends not only on the nature of the affliction but on the disposition of the soul. Job suffered greatly yet endured with thankfulness, and was justified not simply because he suffered but because he bore it with faith toward God.
We pray that God will give ### a long suffering and patient heart, for there is nothing so strong as a patient soul. As a spark falling into the deep does no harm to the sea but is itself quenched, so affliction cannot overwhelm a soul that rests in God. May He guard her from discouragement and complaint, and help her to cast her care upon Him day by day.
We also remember how the Lord answered the woman of Canaan after her persistent coming to Him. Let us continue to come to Him with importunity, trusting His goodness and His timing. He is long suffering and full of mercy, and His goodness leads us to trust Him more.
So let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, have mercy upon ###. You know her pain and the injury to her neck and the long years she has endured. Lay Your healing hand upon her. Ease her pain, restore what is damaged, and grant wisdom to all who treat her. Give her strength of soul, patience in trial, and comfort in Your presence. Help her to look to Christ who suffered for us and who understands our weakness. Let her know Your nearness and Your love, and grant her hope and peace. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our only Savior and Healer. Amen.
We will continue to keep her in prayer. Please let us know how she is doing, so we may continue to intercede for her.
