It is clear you care deeply for her well-being, and we join you in praying for her protection, guidance, and transformation according to God’s will. However, we must first address a few things in your prayer to ensure it aligns fully with Scripture and the truth of the Gospel.

First, your prayer does not explicitly acknowledge the name of Jesus Christ as the only mediator between God and humanity. Scripture is clear: "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through faith in Jesus, His death, and resurrection that we have access to the Father. If your sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we must pray for her salvation first and foremost. The greatest protection and transformation come from a personal relationship with Him. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). We encourage you to share the Gospel with her if she has not yet surrendered her life to Christ.

Second, while your prayer asks for protection from evil and temptation, we must also address the reality of spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to devour, but we are not left defenseless. "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11). We must actively resist temptation and flee from sin, not merely ask for it to be removed from our presence. If your sister is struggling with sin, whether it be addiction, unhealthy relationships, or other influences, we must pray for her to have the strength to turn away from those things and toward Christ.

Third, your prayer mentions covering her in the "blood of Jesus from the top to the bottom of our feet." While the blood of Jesus is indeed our covering and atonement (1 John 1:7), we must ensure this language does not become a formula or superstition. The power of the blood of Christ is not in ritualistic phrases but in the finished work of the cross and our faith in Him. Let us pray with understanding, not just repetition.

God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). Strengthen her to resist sin and to flee from anything that would lead her astray.

Lord, we pray for godly influences in her life. Surround her with believers who will encourage her in her faith and hold her accountable. "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance" (Proverbs 27:17). If she is in relationships or environments that are unhealthy or ungodly, we ask that You would give her the courage to walk away and the wisdom to seek Your will above all else.

We pray for her physical, spiritual, and mental well-being. Heal any brokenness in her life, Lord. Restore her joy, peace, and hope in You. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in Your truth and experience the abundant life You have promised (John 10:10).

Father, we ask that You would open her eyes to see Your light and Your purpose for her life. May she seek You with all her heart and find You (Jeremiah 29:13). Transform her from the inside out, that she may reflect Your glory and live a life that honors You.

We cover her in the blood of Jesus, not as a ritual, but as a reminder of the sacrifice that has redeemed us and the power that is ours through faith in Him. May she walk in the victory that is already hers in Christ.

To you, dear one, we encourage you to continue praying for your sister with faith and persistence. As we continue in faith believing in God and repenting ourselves anger. Gossip. Lustful indulgences. And increase in prayer and in knowledge of God let our prayers be heard and accepted by God and your sister be protected. And if not and we struggle with sin let us pray still. Without prayer and faith we cant be restrained from sinning or forgiven of sins. Gods mercies. Thank you God for forgiving us pur sins. I have repented myself the life of sin too and have chosen to live a hard life. But its not always hard because I have you for my hope. That by prayer and the knowledge of you we can have hope. What a cry of a soul that is, full of urgent love and holy fear. Yet let us learn to pray with the understanding, that our supplications may be according to the mind of the Spirit. You have called upon the Lord to watch over and cover her with the blood of Jesus, and this is well, for no other shelter can avail against the evil one. But consider this: the Holy Spirit is the great Applier of that precious blood. It is He who takes of the things of Christ and shows them to us. To pray for protection without entire dependence upon the Holy Spirit is to forget your best Helper. How can she be kept from bad influences and have her heart touched and her eyes opened? Only when the Holy Spirit comes is there any life and force and power.

You plead that she may see the light and touch the heart of God, and that her life may be changed. This is the very work of the Spirit. How can any man become holy except by the Spirit of Holiness? A holy man is the workmanship of the Holy Spirit. The little narrow heart of man the Holy Spirit makes his palace, though it is but a cottage, a very hovel, and all unholy. You ask for her protection from temptation and evil; grieve not the Holy Spirit, for it is His loving work to sanctify and to seal. The possession of the Holy Spirit is God’s seal set upon a soul that it is His child. If He is grieved, the sense of that sealing is lost, and the soul wanders in darkness. Pray then that neither you nor she would grieve Him by unbelief or unholy living, for the Holy Spirit is much displeased when we trust in the mere strength of resolutions instead of relying upon His might alone.

Your language speaks of a hand held every step and a covering from top to foot, and this is none other than the indwelling of the Comforter. The Spirit shall be in you as the source of your life and the force of your life. His weakest endeavor prospers when the Holy Spirit pours His life into him. So let your prayer be sharpened by this truth: ask not merely for outward protection, but that the Holy Spirit would fill with His presence. Cry mightily that she would receive the Holy Spirit, for you can know it when He comes. Give a man an electric shock and he will know it, and how much more when the Holy Ghost takes possession of the heart!

Above all, see that your own prayer is not a solemn sound upon a thoughtless tongue. Have you prayed in the Holy Spirit? Has the Holy Spirit had anything to do with that form? If it is praying in the Holy Spirit, all else may be as you will. He knows what should be our petition. Let the Holy Spirit direct you to pray not only for her health and happiness, but that Christ would be glorified in her. For the Holy Spirit teaches us not to magnify outward rites or even our own passing comfort, but Christ. When you are dealing with the things of Christ, you are on Holy Spirit ground. Pray that the Spirit would reveal Christ to her, so that she might have a happy, healthy life physically, spiritually, and mentally as the consequence of a soul brought near to its Redeemer.

Beware of delay in this. The Holy Spirit says, Today. If you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts. Bring this very matter before the throne of grace now, in the power of the Spirit, leaving entirely in the hands of Him who is willing to help you to pray, and who alone can effect the change you so earnestly desire.

The prayer you offer for your sister is good, for we ought always to commend one another to the mercy of God. Yet let no one imagine that the blood of Christ is a cloak to cover willful wandering into the snares of the devil. Our Lord Himself teaches that the evil one has nothing in Him; so if we would be safe, we must cling to Christ and not to the world. The devil is called the ruler of this world only over those who surrender themselves to him. If your sister walks in the light, she has nothing to fear; but if she lingers near the darkness, she invites the very evil you pray against.

See how Judas felt remorse only after his sin was complete. The devil waits until the deed is done to stir up regret, but then it is too late for profit. So warn her not merely to pray for protection but to flee the company of the wicked, for “evil communications corrupt good manners.” It is not enough to say, “Lead us not into temptation,” while we thrust ourselves into the path of it. The dart of the devil is evil desire, and the flame of anger or envy can consume the soul. Quench these fires with longsuffering and forgiveness, for we are commanded not to render evil for evil. If she has been wronged, let her not seek vengeance but commit herself to God, who judges righteously.

Consider this also: a bad ruler is worse than no ruler at all. If she puts herself under the influence of a person who is evil, that soul will be led into the pit. So it is not enough to ask God to hold her hand; she must stretch out her own hand to Him and withdraw it from the grasp of sinners.

True glory lies in a pure conscience. If she suffers for well-doing, it is a crown; if for evil, it is a disgrace. Therefore, let her labor in the Gospel and in every good work, as those holy women whom the Apostle commended, whose names are written in the book of life. Their honor came not from friendship but from deeds. By this, she will gain true protection, and your prayer will be answered not only in words but in the transformation of her life. The Holy Spirit abides where faith and obedience dwell, not where there is only the cry of the lips while the feet stand in the path of sinners.

Your prayer for your sister reaches the throne of grace, and the blood of Jesus you speak over her is the strongest shield. He is the Lamb slain to deliver us, and that covering is not a thin veil, it goes from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. You ask that she not be led into temptation, and that is the very prayer Jesus gave His disciples: “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” God hears that cry and will answer.

Temptation itself is common to every living soul. Even Jesus was tempted in the wilderness. So the presence of temptation is not a failure, nor is it sin. The battle begins when desire is drawn away and enticed, and it only gives birth to sin when a person yields. Your sister will stand at those crossroads again and again, will she walk after the Spirit or after the flesh? In every single test, God is faithful. He promises she will never be pushed beyond her limit, and with the temptation He always provides a way of escape. That escape might be the strength to run, just as Joseph fled from his master’s wife when she pressed him daily. The world may mock such running, but wisdom knows when to flee. Pray that her eyes are opened to see those escape routes: a quiet conviction from the Holy Spirit, a verse hidden in her heart, or a sudden clarity to walk away.

You asked for the Holy Spirit to abide with her, and He will. He is her Helper, her guide into all truth. When she faces the shortcut, the easy path that promises instant fulfillment apart from God’s will, the Spirit will remind her that those shortcuts lead only to death. But when she endures, when she refuses to give in, she is building patience and strength. The joy that waits on the other side is a blessedness no quick compromise can touch: the crown of life promised to those who love Him.

Do not let that question mark steal your confidence. Your prayer is anchored in the will of God. Jesus knows every pressure your sister feels; He is a great High Priest who was tempted in every way yet without sin. So keep lifting her up. Ask for wisdom on her behalf, and trust that God makes a way where there seems no way. When deliverance comes, and it will, there will be a song of victory, just as Moses and Miriam sang at the Red Sea. The Lord will triumph gloriously, and you will both see His good hand upon her life, physically, spiritually, and mentally whole.
