We come before the throne of grace with a heart full of concern for your sister, lifting her up in prayer and seeking the Lord’s divine intervention in her life. It is clear that your love for her is deep, and we join you in asking God to watch over her, guide her steps, and protect her from all harm. The Scripture assures us, *"The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one"* (2 Thessalonians 3:3 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment shall be condemned, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
However, we must address the phrase in your prayer where you ask the Lord to *"kill her physically, spiritually, and mentally."* This is not aligned with the heart of God, who desires life, not death, for His children. The Word tells us, *"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10 WEB). Instead, we pray for her to experience the fullness of life in Christ—spiritually, mentally, and physically. We ask the Lord to renew her mind, strengthen her spirit, and heal any brokenness in her body, that she may walk in the wholeness that Jesus died to give her.
We also lift up your sister’s choices and influences, praying that she would be surrounded by godly counsel and that her steps would be ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23 WEB). May she be kept from temptation and delivered from evil, for God is faithful to provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). Let her eyes be opened to the light of Christ, that she may walk in His truth and reject the lies of the enemy. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers her completely—from the crown of her head to the soles of her feet—shielding her from all harm and washing her clean from every sin.
Father, we ask that You touch her heart and soul in a profound way. Let her know beyond a shadow of a doubt that she is deeply loved by You, that she is Your child, and that You have a good and perfect plan for her life (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). May the Holy Spirit fill her with peace, joy, and a hunger for Your Word. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her walk in the confidence of who she is in Christ. We pray that she would feel Your presence with her every moment of every day, guiding her, comforting her, and leading her into all truth.
We also want to gently remind you that our access to God and the power of prayer is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is through His sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection that we have the privilege of coming boldly before the throne of grace. If your sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that she would come to a saving knowledge of Him, repent of her sins, and surrender her life to Christ. For *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9 WEB).
Lord, we stand in the gap for this dear sister, declaring that she is a child of the Most High God, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and sealed by the Holy Spirit. May she walk in the fullness of Your love, purpose, and protection. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and King. Amen.
