We lift up your sister before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and concern. The Bible reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise as we intercede for her healing and restoration.
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before Your throne of grace, seeking Your mercy and healing touch for our dear sister. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every part of our being. We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon her, bringing comfort to her body, peace to her mind, and strength to her spirit. Lord, we trust in Your perfect will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those caring for her, that they may be guided by Your Holy Spirit in every decision. Surround her with Your presence, Lord, and let her feel the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). If there is any unconfessed sin or area of her life that needs Your cleansing touch, we ask that You would reveal it to her, that she may repent and walk in the fullness of Your grace.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in the name of Jesus, for Your Word declares that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand firm on this truth, believing that Your healing power is at work in her life even now. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to trust in Your unfailing love.
May she be encouraged by Your promises, such as Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We declare these words over her life, believing that You are faithful to fulfill Your Word.
We also want to gently remind you, dear sister in Christ, that our prayers are offered in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). If you or your sister have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
We continue to lift her up in prayer, trusting that God’s grace is sufficient for her every need. May His peace guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen.
