We hear your heartfelt cry for your sister, and we join with you in lifting her up before the throne of grace. Your love for her is evident, and we believe that God hears the prayers of His children when they are offered in faith. However, we must first address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If your sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we must pray first and foremost for her salvation, for this is the greatest need of her soul.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name that brings salvation and healing. We lift up this precious sister to You, asking that You would draw her to Yourself with cords of love. Lord, we pray that You would open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and soften her heart to receive the gospel. Break any chains of darkness that may be blinding her to Your light. We ask that You would surround her with godly influences—believers who will speak truth into her life and model Christ-like love. Protect her from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Cover her with the precious blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7).
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of temptation, rebellion, or worldly influence that may be at work in her life. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Guide her steps, Father, and order her path according to Your will. Give her wisdom to make choices that honor You, and grant her the strength to resist the pull of sin. We pray for her spiritual, emotional, and physical healing, knowing that You are the God who restores and makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). Touch her heart, Lord, and let her experience Your love in a way that transforms her from the inside out.
We also pray for your family, that God would knit your hearts together in unity and purpose. May you be a light to your sister, showing her the love of Christ through your words and actions. If there are areas in her life that do not align with Your Word—whether in relationships, habits, or beliefs—we ask that You would convict her gently but firmly, leading her to repentance and restoration.
Heavenly Father, we trust You to work in her life in ways that only You can. Give her a hunger for Your Word and a desire to walk closely with You. Let her know, deep in her spirit, that You desire what is best for her—a life of purpose, peace, and eternal joy in Your presence. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your sister with persistence, just as Jesus taught us in Luke 18:1. Share the gospel with her in love, and trust that God is at work even when you cannot see the results. If she is struggling with specific sins or strongholds, pray that the Holy Spirit would reveal them to her and give her the strength to turn away from them. Remember, *"The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective"* (James 5:16). Keep standing in faith, knowing that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in her life (Philippians 1:6).
