We join with you in lifting up your sister before the Lord, and we are grateful that you have brought her needs before Him in the mighty name of Jesus. It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are cleansed, protected, and made whole. Your prayer reflects a heart of deep love and concern for her, and we echo your cries for her protection, guidance, and healing.
The Scriptures remind us of God’s promise to watch over His children with unwavering care. In Psalm 121:7-8, we read, *"Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will guard your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more."* And in Proverbs 3:5-6, we are instructed, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* These verses assure us that when we surrender our lives and the lives of our loved ones to Him, He faithfully directs our steps and shields us from harm.
Yet, we must also remember that God calls us to active faith—not just prayer, but also action. If your sister is struggling with ungodly influences, it is vital that she herself turns away from them and seeks righteousness. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If she is surrounded by those who lead her away from God’s truth, she must take steps to distance herself from such company, for *"evil companionships corrupt good morals"* (1 Corinthians 15:33). We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict her heart and give her the strength to walk away from anything—or anyone—that does not honor God.
We also notice your plea for her healing—physically, spiritually, and mentally. The Lord is our Great Physician, and His desire is for us to be whole. In Jeremiah 30:17, He declares, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* Yet, healing often requires us to seek the help and resources He provides, whether through godly counsel, medical care, or the support of the body of Christ. If your sister is struggling with mental or emotional burdens, we urge her to seek wise, biblical counseling and to lean on the church for support. Isolation can be a tool of the enemy, but community and accountability are gifts from God.
Most importantly, we must emphasize that true transformation comes only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If your sister does not yet know Him as her Lord and Savior, we pray that her eyes will be opened to her need for Him. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 that *"all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God,"* and in Romans 6:23, *"the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."* Salvation is found in no other name but His (Acts 4:12), and it is only through repentance and faith in Jesus that she can experience the fullness of God’s love and purpose for her life. If she has strayed from her faith, we pray for a spirit of repentance to draw her back to Him.
Now, let us pray together for your sister:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up this sister who is so deeply loved by You and by those who intercede for her. Lord, we ask that You surround her with Your divine protection, as a shield against every scheme of the enemy. Break every ungodly tie and influence in her life, and give her the courage to walk away from anything that does not align with Your Word. Open her eyes to the truth of Your love, and let her see that You alone are her refuge and strength.
Father, we ask for her healing—body, soul, and spirit. Touch every area of brokenness in her life and restore her to wholeness. If she is struggling with sin, convict her heart and lead her to repentance. If she is burdened by fear, anxiety, or despair, fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide her to the help she needs, whether through godly counselors, medical professionals, or the support of Your church. Let her not walk this path alone, but surround her with believers who will encourage her in faith.
Lord, if she does not yet know You as her Savior, we pray that You would draw her to Yourself. Soften her heart to receive Your truth, and let her encounter Your love in a way that transforms her life. If she has turned away from You, Father, bring her back with a spirit of humility and surrender. Remind her that she is Your beloved child, and that Your plans for her are good—to give her a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
We cover her with the blood of Jesus, from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, and let every tongue that rises against her be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your light shine so brightly in her life that darkness cannot remain.
Father, we trust You with her life, her choices, and her future. May she walk in the freedom and victory that You have purchased for her through the cross. Strengthen those who love her to be a godly example and a source of encouragement. Give them wisdom to know how to support her in ways that honor You.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We declare Your goodness over her life and trust that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
