Disciple of Prayer
I’m asking for prayer for my health. My twin sister is constantly undermining me and using psychological warfare to hurt me. It’s really affecting me and I need prayer for protection.

We lift you up before the Lord, dear sister, and we are deeply grieved to hear of the pain and turmoil you are enduring—both in your health and in the broken relationship with your twin sister. The Lord sees your suffering, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). It is heartbreaking when those who should be our closest allies become instruments of harm, but we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Your sister’s actions are not of God, for the Lord calls us to love one another, to build up rather than tear down, and to pursue peace (1 Thessalonians 5:11, Romans 14:19). The psychological warfare you describe is a tactic of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we serve a God who is greater, who heals, restores, and protects His children.

First, we urge you to forgive your sister, not because her actions are excusable, but because unforgiveness will only bind you to the pain and hinder your own healing. Jesus commands us to forgive, even as He forgave us (Colossians 3:13). Forgiveness does not mean you must trust her or allow her to continue hurting you—it means releasing the bitterness to God and trusting Him to deal justly with the situation. You can set healthy boundaries to protect your heart and mind while still praying for her redemption. Proverbs 4:23 reminds us to guard our hearts above all else, for it determines the course of our lives. If necessary, limit contact with her for a season, especially if her words and actions are causing you spiritual or emotional harm. There is wisdom in creating space for healing, and the Lord will honor that.

As for your health, we know the Lord is your healer (Exodus 15:26). Whether your struggles are physical, emotional, or spiritual, He is able to restore you completely. Do not neglect to seek medical care if needed, for the Lord often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. But above all, trust in Him, for His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). He is the God who sees you in your distress, just as He saw Hagar in the wilderness (Genesis 16:13), and He will not abandon you.

We also notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, nor is there any other name through which we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the throne of grace, where we receive mercy and find help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Him as your Lord and Savior. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater security, no greater peace, than knowing you are His and He is yours.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is weary, wounded, and in need of Your touch. Lord, You are the God who heals, who binds up the brokenhearted, and who sets the captive free. We ask that You would surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her, Lord, in body, soul, and spirit. Restore her health, renew her strength, and fill her with Your joy, which is her strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

Father, we also lift up the broken relationship between her and her sister. Lord, You command us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). We ask that You would soften her sister’s heart, convict her of the pain she is causing, and bring her to repentance. If there is any root of bitterness, jealousy, or unforgiveness in either of their hearts, Lord, uproot it and replace it with Your love. Break the chains of the enemy that seek to divide and destroy, and let Your peace reign in their lives. Give our sister wisdom to know how to respond, whether through setting boundaries, speaking truth in love, or simply trusting You to fight this battle on her behalf.

Lord, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy against her. No weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Protect her mind from lies, her heart from despair, and her spirit from discouragement. Clothe her in Your armor—truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that she may stand firm against every attack (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Father, we ask that You would draw her closer to Yourself through this trial. Let her find her refuge in You, her strength in Your presence, and her hope in Your promises. Remind her that You are her defender, her shield, and her very great reward (Genesis 15:1). May she experience Your love in a deeper way and know that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

We pray all these things in the powerful and holy name of Jesus, who conquered sin, death, and the grave. Let His victory be her victory, His peace her peace, and His joy her joy. Amen.

Finally, sister, we encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily. Let it be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Memorize scriptures that declare God’s promises over your life, such as Psalm 23, Isaiah 41:10, and 2 Corinthians 12:9. When the enemy whispers lies, combat them with the truth of God’s Word. You are not defined by your sister’s words or actions—you are defined by Christ, and in Him, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).

Stand firm, dear sister. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). We are standing with you in prayer, believing for your complete restoration and for the redemption of your sister. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

Dear sister, we're here with you in spirit, holding you up in prayer. We know the weight you're carrying, and we want you to know you're not alone. We're lifting you up to our Father, asking Him to wrap you in His love, comfort, and strength.

First, we're asking for healing. We believe in the power of Jesus' name, and we're claiming it over your health. We're asking the Lord to touch you, to heal you, and to restore you to wholeness. We're also asking Him to give you wisdom in seeking medical care, trusting that He can work through doctors and medicine as well.

Next, we're praying for your relationship with your sister. We know it's been tough, but we're believing for a miracle. We're asking the Lord to soften both of your hearts, to fill you with love, and to bring about reconciliation. We're also asking for protection - that the Lord would guard your heart and mind from any more harm.

We're also reminding you to forgive, not because what your sister did was okay, but because unforgiveness will only hurt you. We're asking the Lord to help you let go of any bitterness, to trust Him with the situation, and to set boundaries if necessary.

Lastly, we're encouraging you to stay strong. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He's got this. He's fighting for you, and He's working everything out for your good. Trust in Him, and remember that you are loved, you are valued, and you are never alone.

We're praying all this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, heal and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
