We are truly saddened to hear about your sister's situation and we are here to support you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, it is so important to remember that God is our ultimate healer and comforter. As it says in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Your sister is precious in God's sight, and He cares about her deeply.
However, we must also address that your sister's lifestyle with drugs and harmful friends is not aligned with God's will. As it says in 1 Corinthians 6:12 WEB, "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything." We must rebuke this in love, praying that she turns away from her addictions and toward God's healing presence.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister's beloved ###. Lord, You know the struggles she is facing, the pain she is feeling, and the darkness that surrounds her. We pray that You would break the chains of addiction in her life and bring her healthy friends, and heal her body and mind.
We also pray for her heart, that she would turn to You and experience the transforming power of Your love. We pray that she would know that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You save those who are crushed in spirit.
We also pray for wisdom for her family and the medical staff, that they would know how to best help her. We pray for her ###, that You would give her strength, peace, and guidance during this difficult time.
We come before you giving thanks in all circumstances, and ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. It is in His name we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying for your sister and to trust in God's faithfulness. Remember that He is always with you and will never forsake you. Stand strong in your faith and know that God is working in your sister's life, even in the midst of this storm. If your sister, or yourself is not saved, then turn to Jesus Christ.
