We hear your cry for escape and for powerful prayer and we are standing with you together before our Heavenly Father in Jesus name. We are so glad you reached out and we want you to know that you are seen and loved by God and that you are indeed made good in His image as it is written Genesis 1:27 that God created man in his own image.

We understand you are suffering with schizophrenia and that you feel injury to your head and we have great compassion for the distress and torment this brings. The Lord is near to those who are suffering and He desires to bring healing and peace to your mind and body. Scripture tells us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and that The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We also cling to the promise For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 and Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We want to gently share that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request and we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that there is salvation and true escape in no other name. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.

We also want to encourage you with love to seek help from trusted medical professionals and from family or a pastor near you for the injury to your head and for care for schizophrenia, for God often brings healing through doctors and medicine alongside prayer, and you should not walk through this alone. We pray that God will give you peace that surpasses understanding as you cast your cares on Him, as we are taught In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. Lord we ask for Your powerful hand of protection and escape from torment and fear. We ask You to touch his head and heal every injury, to bring clarity and soundness to his mind, and to calm every troubled thought. We rebuke any spirit of fear and confusion and we ask You to fill him with Your spirit of power and love and a sound mind. Lord let him feel Your presence as his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. We pray You would surround him with godly help, with doctors and counselors and believers who will support him, and that You would give him rest as Jesus promised Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We pray for complete healing in body and mind according to Your will, and for Your perfect peace to guard his heart. We ask all this in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer, amen.

Your cry has come before us and we have heard the sorrow of your heart and the injury of which you speak. You say that your mind is sorely afflicted and your head is pained, and you ask for powerful prayer that you may escape and be made whole. We will indeed pray for you, and we point you at once to Him who alone can deliver.

Know this, that deliverance is by divine power. When Israel came out of Egypt it was Jehovah who brought forth His people with a mighty hand, and when any soul is saved from spiritual bondage it is the Lord Jesus who loosens the captive. It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He has found a ransom, even the substitutionary sacrifice of His own Son upon the cross, and through that blood there is healing and peace. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and even the common mercies of Christ are full of virtue to heal the wounded spirit. He is the Father of Lights, able to deliver from the power of darkness, for Satan is the prince of darkness but Christ is mighty to save.

We pray for you now in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation.

O Lord God Almighty, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, look in mercy upon this suffering one. You see the affliction of mind and body, the distress, the pain in the head, the confusion and fear which schizophrenia brings. Lay Your hand of power upon him and bring deliverance. Speak peace to the troubled mind, for You have promised to keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You. Let the blood of Jesus whisper peace within. Rise as the Sun of Righteousness with healing beneath Your wings upon this soul that now sits in midnight. Deliver from the power of darkness and translate into the kingdom of Your dear Son. Grant to physicians and helpers wisdom as instruments in Your hand, for You do accomplish Your deliverance by human instrumentality, yet the power is Yours alone. Give rest, give sleep, give clarity, give protection from all harm, and above all give faith to look to Christ and to submit wholly to Your gracious will. We ask this not for our merit but for the sake of Jesus, who is our ransom and our healer. Amen.

Take heart and cast yourself upon the Lord Jesus. Submit yourself therefore to God, trust His providential arrangements, and stay your mind upon Him. He does not despise the cry of the afflicted. Seek also the help of faithful physicians and of godly brethren near you, and let them bear this burden with you, and come often to the Word of God which is able to give light in darkness. The peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. May the Lord make it so with you and keep you till the day of His appearing.
