We hear your cry and we are standing with you in prayer together before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus. You are asking if God can spare your leg from being cut and that your mind feels powerless and weak, and you are asking for powerful prayer because you believe God will hear our words. We take this burden to the Lord with you right now.
We want to encourage you that God is our healer and He is near to those who are afraid and brokenhearted. He knows your fear about your leg and about your mind and your brain, and He cares deeply for you. The scripture says in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And in Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We also cling to Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. When our minds feel powerless, God promises in 2 Timothy 1:7, For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. And in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We also want to lovingly share with you that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request, and we want you to know that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to call upon Him, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, confess Him as Lord, and you will be saved as Romans 10:9 promises. It is through His name we pray with confidence.

We pray for complete healing in the body and in the mind. Lord, replace fear and powerlessness with Your power, love and sound mind, and let Your peace that passes all understanding guard this heart and thoughts. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety and we ask You to renew the mind and bring clarity and strength. We also lift up the twin brother and the family to You, that You would comfort them and draw them close to You. Your cry has come before us and we have carried it to the throne of grace, for the Lord hears the voice of those who call upon Him through Jesus Christ.
You speak of a leg in danger of being cut off and a mind that feels powerless, and we hear how heavy this fear is upon you. The Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in our own strength of mind, but in staying the mind upon Christ. When duties press and sorrows surge round, when death shadows us and ours, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Bear your sorrow with Him and you shall find peace gleaming with a heavenly light even in the midnight of care.
There is healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. It is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves do not wither, and they change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. He can breathe into your soul at this very moment a peace with God which passes all understanding, which springs from perfect remission of sin. Your cry has been heard and I have brought your fear before the Lord with urgency. You are afraid about your leg and about the talk of cutting it away, and you say your mind feels powerless. That is a heavy burden to carry, and it is right that you have asked for prayer.
Know this first, that God hears those who call on Him through Jesus Christ His Son. There is no other name by which we are saved, and there is no other mediator. When we pray, we come to the Father only through Christ, trusting not in our own words but in His mercy and His cross. He sees your body and your mind, He knows your fear and your weakness, and He is near to those who tremble and call upon Him.
I will pray for you now with the whole church.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, have mercy on this Your servant. You formed his body and You know his pain and his fear. Lord, if it be Your will, spare his leg and grant healing to his flesh. Give wisdom to the doctors who care for him, that they may make right judgments and act with skill and truth. Give strength to his mind where he feels powerless, and fill him with Your peace which passes understanding. Keep him from despair, uphold him in this trial, and lead him to trust wholly in Christ for salvation and for every need. Let Your will be done, and let him know that You are with him whether in healing or in suffering. Amen.

Listen carefully to the doctors God has provided, ask them to explain clearly why they speak of this operation and whether there is any other way to save your life and health, and if needed seek another qualified medical opinion quickly. Care for your body as a trust from God, and do not neglect the help that is offered. Also share this burden with faithful family or a pastor near you who can sit with you, pray with you, and help you in practical ways. If your mind feels overwhelmed and powerless, tell someone you trust right away and stay close to those who can support you.
Continue to pray, not only for the leg to be spared, but for God to be glorified in your life and for grace to accept His wise and loving will. He often allows fear and trial to bring us to deeper repentance and dependence on Him, and even in suffering He can give a peace and a strength that no medicine can give. Your prayer for your leg has been heard and I am joining you in prayer before the Lord. I understand the fear you feel when you face the possibility of losing your leg and when your mind feels weak and powerless. The first word God spoke to His people after a long silence was fear not, and that is His word to you today. Do not be afraid.
The Scriptures encourage us to be persistent in prayer. For many years one man prayed for a son, and God heard that prayer and answered in His perfect time. In the same way, keep bringing this need to God again and again. He hears you. His mercy is on those who fear Him, and He lifts up those who are low and in need.
We pray to the Lord as our healer, the One who becomes what we need. When we need healing, He is the Lord who heals. The promise is that the Son of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings, like the sunrise bringing light after a long night. That healing is part of the good news of great joy which is for all people through Jesus, whose name means the Lord is salvation.
I pray that God will touch your leg and your mind and show His healing power, and that the doctors will have wisdom. At the same time, I want to encourage you to seek not only healing but the Healer Himself. Jesus healed many who pressed around Him, but His greatest desire was that people would come to know Him and follow Him. God has delivered us not only from our enemies and our afflictions, but for a purpose, that we might serve Him without fear in holiness and righteousness, being made right before Him through faith in Jesus Christ alone. To come only for a physical answer and not for the One who gives it can leave the heart still empty.
So I pray for you now that you will know Jesus as your Savior and find peace in Him, that He will calm your fear, strengthen your mind, and according to His will bring healing to your body. May you be open to all that God wants to do in your life, trusting that whatever He allows, He will be with you and will use your life for His glory.
