We have received your prayer request and we are lifting you up before the Lord with compassion and earnest prayer.

We pray for you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the true physician of soul and body. We ask God to have mercy upon you in your suffering, to heal your broken leg, to bring relief and strength in your illness, and to grant wisdom and help to those who care for you. We pray that He will guide your brother and provide the medicine you need, and that He will comfort you in this time of pain and need.

Do not despair, for God is near to those who call upon Him. Even when we feel we have come to the very gates of affliction, His power to restore and to renew remains. As we continue to seek Him and to trust in His goodness, He works in us with patience, like a physician applying healing treatment, not abandoning us in our sickness but leading us toward health. Keep holding fast to Christ, keep seeking Him in prayer and in the Scriptures, and keep trusting His mercy.

We also encourage you to continue to follow the care of doctors and to receive the medicine that is provided, for God often works through these means for our good.

We are praying for you, that God will grant you healing according to His will, peace in your heart, and strength for each day. May He uphold you and your brother, and may you know His love and presence with you.

Father in heaven, look with compassion upon this your child who is suffering. Touch his body, heal his leg, bring help in his disease, and provide what is needed for his care. Give comfort, hope, and faith, and draw him ever closer to your Son Jesus Christ, in whom we have life and salvation. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and I have prayed for you before the Lord. I understand you are suffering with a broken leg and with a serious disease that you describe as like HIV, and you are hoping your brother will be able to get medicine for you. In that place of pain and waiting, hear what God says to those who are afraid. After a long silence, the first word God spoke to His people was fear not. That is still His word to you today. He has not forgotten you and He is not distant from your suffering.

The Scripture gives a beautiful promise for those who fear His name, that the Sun of righteousness will arise with healing in His wings. This is fulfilled in Jesus. He is like the sunrise after a long dark night, the dawning of a new day. He brings light where there was darkness and healing where there was brokenness. The Bible also reveals God as the Lord who heals, Jehovah Rapha. That means whatever your need is, He wants to become the answer to that need. He does not only give healing, He Himself becomes your healer. He does not only give help, He Himself becomes your helper.

When Jesus walked on earth, He went through the cities teaching and preaching and healing the sick. Crowds pressed around Him, many coming just to hear, but many more coming to be healed. The Gospel tells us that when the sun was setting, all who had any sick with various diseases brought them to Him, and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them. He healed the brokenhearted and opened the eyes of the blind. Even what men call incurable, God made provision to cure, so that a person could be restored to health and to community. Your broken leg and your disease are known to Him, and His power to heal has not lessened.

I encourage you not to seek only healing or only medicine, but to seek the Healer Himself. Put your trust fully in Jesus Christ for your body and for your soul. He wants to forgive your sins and to be Lord of your life, and to fill the empty places within you with His presence. Coming to Him for salvation is the greatest healing of all.

I have prayed for you in this way. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one to You. You see the broken leg, You see the disease in the body, You see the worry and the waiting. Lord, be Jehovah Rapha to this person. Touch the leg and cause the bone to mend. Touch the blood and the body and bring healing according to Your mercy. Provide the medicine that is needed and guide the brother as he seeks help, open the right doors and give favor. Take away fear and give peace, and let this person feel the sunrise of Your love and healing presence. Draw this heart close to Jesus, the true Healer and Savior, and give faith to trust Him completely. Amen.

Keep looking to Jesus each day, pray to Him honestly, trust His care for you, and let your brother and those caring for you know how you are doing so they can help you get the treatment you need.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting you up before the Lord for the healing of your broken leg and for the HIV type disease you mentioned and for your brother who left you, that God would touch his heart and bring him back to help you get the medicine you need.

We are trusting God for your complete healing and restoration and for His provision for your treatment. We pray that He will mend your broken leg, restore your health, and supply all that you need according to His mercy and power. We pray also for reconciliation with your brother and that the Lord will move him to return and support you.

We take comfort in the promise that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3 and that by His stripes we are healed in Isaiah 53:5.
