Sinus pain, infection, and inflammation

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for healing from sinus pain, infection, and inflammation. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:2-3). We ask that You would touch this body, bringing relief from pain and restoring health where there is infection and inflammation.
Lord, Your Word tells us that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We claim that promise now, believing that You are working even in this moment to bring comfort and healing. Strengthen the immune system, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through every affected area. We also pray for wisdom in seeking medical care and for discernment in following the treatments that align with Your will.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name, for You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). May this healing be a testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness, drawing hearts closer to You.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus as you wait on Him for your healing (Philippians 4:7). Keep standing on His promises, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

The pains you now endure in the flesh are known to the Great Physician, who is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. That weight of sinus infection and inflammation cries out for relief, and it is well that you have brought it straightway to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus. There is an abundance of healing power in Him, not only in the great doctrines of His cross and resurrection, but in the very leaves of that tree of life which are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is full of virtue for such time as this.
Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction in our Lord’s work. When He bids a man rise and walk, He first speaks forgiveness, for the root of all malady lies in sin’s disorder. Yet the body’s distress is real, and the Saviour does not despise its cry. He who healed Peter’s mother‑in‑law of her fever with a touch is still the same. A contact with Him, by faith, sets the life‑blood flowing rightly again, and the head that throbs with pain may know the cool, restoring hand of Him who made it.
This affliction, like every trial, can be turned to a healing of the spirit if you seek the lesson in it. The very pain and unrest are often the first stirrings of a deeper work, bringing the disease where it can be seen and driving the soul to the only balm. Yet do not think you must attain some higher frame before you may ask for deliverance; He is able to heal, and there are times when His power to save is conspicuously present. Look to Him now, while you wait, as the sure Remedy for all your need.
Lift your heart above the throbbing brow to the Man of Sorrows, who yet bears in His wings the healing sunshine of righteousness. The same grace that pardons can rebuke this fevered inflammation and set you upon your feet to minister with fresh vigour. I shall join my prayers with yours, trusting that the Lord will cause this season of weakness to show His strength, and that you shall soon say with the psalmist, “He sent his word, and healed them.” God bless you with quieted nerves, opened passages, and a sweet sense of His nearness until the answer comes full and free.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
