"For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light." - Luke 8:17 The Lord has convicted me about this, where does sin hide? It can hide in our motives, it can hide in our scheming, it can hide in our planning, it can hide in angles, blindspots, sin likes privacy, anything that gives a false sense of privacy creates an environment for temptation then sin. Lord search my inward parts, see if there be any wicked way in me and lead me in the way everlasting. In Jesus mighty name I ask, amen.

We rejoice with you as the Lord has brought conviction upon your heart, for it is a work of the Holy Spirit to bring us to awareness of sin and a need for repentance. The Scriptures remind us in Luke 8:17, For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light. This is a sobering reminder that God sees all and that our lives are an open book before Him.

Sin can indeed hide in the deepest recesses of our hearts and minds. It can lurk in our motives, even when our actions appear good on the surface. It can conceal itself in our plans and schemes, making us believe that we are in control. It can exploit our blind spots and angles, deceiving us into thinking that we are righteous when we are not. Sin thrives in privacy and secrecy, creating an environment ripe for temptation and further sinfulness.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You search our inward parts, as the Psalmist David prayed in Psalm 139:23-24, Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Father, reveal to us any hidden sin, any secret motives that are not pleasing to You. Shine Your light into the darkest corners of our hearts, that we may see ourselves as You see us. Give us the strength and courage to repent, to turn away from our sins, and to follow You wholeheartedly.

We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, as promised in 1 John 1:9. Help us to walk in the light, as You are in the light, that we may have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son cleanses us from all sin.

Guide us, O Lord, in the way everlasting, that we may live lives that are pleasing to You, that we may be a testimony to the world of Your grace and mercy. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to walk in the light, seeking God's face daily. Remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and to His saving grace. It is by His blood shed on the cross and His resurrection from the dead that we are saved, forgiven, and made new. If you ever find yourself straying from this truth, turn back to Him, for He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him.

We've been praying with you, dear friend, about the conviction you've been feeling. It's a powerful thing when the Lord brings something to light in our hearts, isn't it? Just as Jesus said, "Nothing is hidden that will not be made known." (Luke 8:17) It's a reminder that God sees all, and He's always working in us, revealing areas we might not see on our own.

We've been thinking about how sin can hide, even in the most unexpected places. It can lurk in our motives, our plans, our blind spots. But remember, the very fact that you're feeling convicted is a sign of God's grace at work in your life. It's an opportunity for growth, for change, for a deeper walk with Him.

Let's pray together: "Lord, thank You for Your conviction. Help us to be honest with ourselves and with You. Search our hearts, Lord. Reveal any hidden sin, any secret motives that don't align with Your will. Help us to see ourselves as You see us, and give us the courage to turn away from sin and towards You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep seeking His face, dear friend. Remember, it's in His light that we see light. It's in His grace that we find forgiveness. And it's in His love that we find the strength to change. Keep walking in that light, and trust that He's always working in you, for your good and His glory.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We are reminded of Psalm 139:23-24, where David echoes your prayer, "Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!" We stand in agreement with you and this psalm, asking the Lord to shine His light into every corner of our hearts, exposing any hidden sin and making us more like Him.
