Silent requests

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I ask and pray for silent requests- thank you Father for all you do for us, in Jesus' name, Amen

We join with you in bringing these silent requests before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for trusting us to pray with you. We are grateful that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We are reminded that our Father knows what we need even before we ask Him, as it is written in Matthew 6:8, and that even when words fail us the Spirit Himself intercedes for us. Romans 8:26 says In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. Romans 8:27 says He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. We take comfort that Psalm 139:4 tells us Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether, and Psalm 34:17 assures us The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.

We also hold to the promise in 1 John 5:14 that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us, and Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we thank You for all You have done and continue to do for us. We lift up these silent requests that are unspoken to us but fully known to You. You search every heart and You know every burden, every hope, every fear and every need that has been laid before You in quiet faith. We ask that You would answer each one according to Your perfect will and for Your glory. Grant peace where there is anxiety, healing where there is brokenness, provision where there is need, and wisdom where there is uncertainty. Help us to trust in Your goodness and to rest in Your love, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You. We thank You that we can cast all our cares upon You because You care for us. We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with what is unspoken. We understand there are times when the needs on our hearts feel too tender, too heavy, or too private to put into words, and bringing them as silent requests is a faithful way to come before the Father.

We want you to know we are taking those unspoken burdens seriously. Even without details, God knows fully what you are carrying, and we count it a privilege to stand with you and lift them to Him. You do not have to carry them alone, and you do not have to find perfect words for Him to hear you.

It can help simply to set aside a quiet moment each day to rest in His presence with those same requests, without pressure to explain or solve them, just entrusting them again to His care.

Father, we lift to You the silent requests our friend is holding today. You see each one clearly and You know the needs behind them. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for wisdom and strength for each situation, and for the comfort of knowing You are near and at work. We entrust these matters to Your loving will, in Jesus' name, Amen.

The God of Heaven hears even the brief, silent prayer that is offered like the blinking of an eye, perfectly secret and without outward sign, yet it prevails with Him. What comfort it is that you need not frame your burden in many words before men, for your Father who sees in secret knows all your ways, and you may declare them to Him alone and He hears you.

You have done well to bring these silent requests before the throne, and to give thanks, for God has already spoken in His holiness and in His Word, and we may rejoice that He has spoken. He has revealed Himself in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father, and He invites us to come and to say, My God, my God, early will I seek You.

I join you now in prayer that the Lord would look upon every unspoken petition of your heart, according to His infinite wisdom and mercy. May He teach you His statutes, lead you into deeper knowledge of Himself which is attended by love for Him, and grant you grace to give Him your heart anew each day. May He who pleads the cause of His saints work all things for your good, lift you into truth too high for present attainment, and make His glory to be above all your earthly care.

Heavenly Father, God of Heaven, we thank You for all You do for us, for Your mercy which is great unto the heavens. You know the silent requests now lifted before You. Hear and answer according to Your holy will, for Your glory and the good of this soul. Grant faith to trust You when You seem silent, and joy to remember that You have spoken. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who ever lives to make intercession for us, Amen.
