Silent requests

We join with you in bringing these silent requests before our Heavenly Father, and we thank you for trusting us to pray with you. We are grateful that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and confidence that we are heard.

We take comfort that our Father knows the unspoken burdens of our hearts even before we form the words. His Word reminds us in Psalm 139:4, For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. And in Matthew 6:8 we are told, Therefore don’t be like them, for your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. Even when we do not know how to express the depth of our need, we have the promise of Romans 8:26, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.

We also cling to the assurance in 1 John 5:14, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And we are encouraged to bring everything to Him as it says in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now for every silent request you hold in your heart.

Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for all You do for us, for Your mercy, Your provision, and Your unfailing love. You see each silent request, You know every detail, every need, every hope and every hurt that has not been spoken aloud. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and for Your glory. Grant wisdom, comfort, healing, provision, and peace where it is needed. Let Your will be done in each situation and let those who are waiting on You feel Your presence and Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Draw each heart closer to You and help us to trust in Your goodness and Your timing. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and intercessor, Amen.

We are grateful you shared this moment with us, even with just a few words. Bringing silent requests to the Father is itself an act of trust, and we are honoured to stand with you in it.

We do not know the details behind what you are carrying, but we believe God does, fully and kindly. There is comfort in knowing we do not have to find the perfect language for Him to understand. He sees what is heavy, what is hopeful, and what is still unspoken, and He invites us to keep coming as we are.

If it helps, you might find a quiet moment this week to simply sit with the Lord without pressure to explain everything. A short, honest prayer like the one you have already prayed is enough. He hears the heart behind the silence.

We are praying for you and will continue to lift these unspoken needs with you.

Father, we lift up our friend and every silent request they hold before You. You know each one by name. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for wisdom for each decision, and for Your loving care to be clear in the days ahead. Draw them close and remind them they are not alone. In Jesus' name, Amen.

There is great comfort in bringing even silent requests before the God of Heaven, for He hears not only the voice but the heart. As Nehemiah offered a brief, silent prayer, perfectly secret and yet prevailing with God, so your unspoken petitions are not hidden from Him who knows to whom you pray. It was done intuitively, like the blinking of an eye, and yet it was done, and God heard it.

You have done well to come with thanksgiving, for while you wait for God to answer, you may remember that God has already spoken in His holiness. His Word is pure truth and fixed certainty, and the God of Sinai is the same God as the God of Calvary, revealed in the Person of the Lord Jesus. He condescends to instruct the heart of man, and He invites you to appropriate Him and say, This God is our God forever and ever.

May you know the privilege that belongs to every child of God, that the Lord Himself is the portion of your inheritance, and that you may say My God, My God, with holy confidence through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we come to the Father.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, God of Heaven, we thank You for all You do for us and for Your great mercy which is great unto the heavens. You see these silent requests that are too deep for words and You know every way that has been declared before You. Hear according to Your perfect wisdom and holiness, and grant answers that accord with Your Word. Teach us Your statutes, draw each heart to know You and to love You, for to know You is to love You, and lead us to trust wholly in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died and is risen again and ever makes intercession for us. Give grace to rejoice because You have spoken, and to rest in Your will, that You may be exalted above all. In Jesus name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
