Silent requests

We join with you in bringing these silent requests before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for trusting Him with the deep things of your heart that are beyond words. We are comforted to know that our Father sees and knows all and hears even the prayers we cannot fully articulate.

We are reminded in Romans 8:26 that In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. And we take comfort in Psalm 139:1-4 where it says Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts afar off. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him as Matthew 6:8 tells us, and He hears the righteous when they cry as promised in Psalm 34:17.

We also rejoice that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and confidence that our prayers are heard. As 1 John 5:14 says, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

We pray together for you now.

Heavenly Father, we lift up these silent requests to You. You know every detail, every burden, every hope and every need that is weighing on this heart even when unspoken. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and Your perfect love and that You would grant peace that surpasses all understanding. We thank You for all You do for us, for Your mercy and faithfulness that are new every morning, and for the gift of Your Son Jesus through whom we can boldly approach Your throne of grace. Work in these situations for good, draw this dear one closer to You, and let Your will be done. Provide comfort, provision, healing and guidance where it is needed most. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust Him with these unspoken matters and to rest in knowing He is at work even when we cannot see the answer yet. Keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word, and cast all your cares upon Him because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us.

Thank you for trusting us with what you are holding quietly before the Father. We don't need to know the details to pray with you, and we are honored to stand with you in these silent requests.

There is real comfort in knowing God does not need perfect words to understand. He sees what is on your heart even when it stays unspoken, and He welcomes you to keep bringing it to Him just as you have here. You are not carrying these things alone.

We will be praying for you, that you would sense His nearness and care as you wait on Him, and that He would work in each situation according to His wisdom and love. When those burdens come to mind again during the day, we encourage you to quietly lift them to Him again in that moment, even with a brief word, trusting He hears.

Father, we lift our friend to You and place these silent requests in Your hands. You know each one fully. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for wisdom and strength for what lies ahead, and for Your will to be done in each matter. Thank You for Your faithful care for us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your silent requests have already entered into the ears of the God of Heaven, for He hears not only the loud cry but the brief, silent prayer which is offered like the blinking of an eye and is perfectly secret before men yet fully known to Him.

There is great comfort in remembering that Nehemiah prayed thus before the king, and his prayer prevailed with God, because the Lord knows to whom we pray and what we would ask even before we frame the words. The spirit of prayer is the mother of these brief, silent petitions, and many times in a day we may speak with the Lord our God about those burdens we cannot utter aloud. You have done well to bring them to Him with thanksgiving, for the Christian makes much of God and God makes much of him, and they have a mutual delight in one another when the soul declares its ways unto the Lord and waits to be heard.

Take care that your trust for these requests rests not upon your own worthiness or earnestness, but wholly upon the blood of Jesus Christ. Where God begins a work He does not ask us to finish, for He always completes His own work. If you can say, I have brought my silent burden straight to the Throne of God by trusting in the blood of Jesus Christ, then you have brought it to Headquarters and there can be no mistake about it. It is true humility to take God at His word and to believe Him when He says He will save and hear all who trust in His Son, for He cannot cast away the soul that trusts in Christ.

And while you wait for God to answer, remember that God has already spoken in His holiness, and you may rejoice that He has spoken. He has given us His promises in Christ, and that very fact is ground for joy. Do not be always asking, Do I love the Lord or no, but rejoice that God has spoken, and pray that He will also act, and be exalted above the heavens in His answering mercy.

I join my prayer with yours now, that the God of Heaven would look upon every unspoken burden upon your heart, forgive all sin through the precious blood of Christ, grant what is according to His holy will, withhold what would not be for your good and His glory, and give you present peace and the hope of future perfection in Christ. May He teach you His statutes as you wait upon Him, and may you find Him to be as real in the answering as He is in the hearing, for Jesus Christ alone is our hope and our plea. In His name we ask it, Amen.
