Beloved of All
Your silent prayer has been received and I join my faith with yours before God in the name of Jesus. Though no words were spoken aloud, the Lord hears the heart that cries out to Him. As Hannah was heard when her voice was not heard because her heart cried out, and as Abel was heard when his blood cried out, so God hears you now in this silent petition.
Prayer is a great weapon and an unshaken tower. The affairs of each day are like a storm at sea with many rocks, and we need this weapon to go through the day without shipwreck. For this reason keep to prayer early in the morning and by night, first making God favorable to you, and then going forth to your work with security. Remember also that we need both prayer and our own faithfulness, for God gives grace and we offer our obedience together.
I pray for you now that the Lord who opened the heart of Lydia to attend to His word will open His mercy to you, that He will strengthen you, keep you, and answer according to His wisdom and love in Christ. May you know His peace and His help in this very need you have brought silently before Him. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and our hope. Amen.
