Silent prayer

We join you in this silent prayer before the Lord and we thank you for trusting us to lift up what is unspoken before Him in Jesus' name.

We are reminded that our Father knows the cries of our heart even before we speak them and that He hears what others cannot hear. Psalm 139:1-2 says Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. Matthew 6:8 tells us your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. And Romans 8:26 assures us In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.

We take comfort that nothing is hidden from God and that He is faithful to hear and to answer according to His perfect will. 1 John 5:14 says This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

We pray together now for your silent request.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this dear one and this unspoken burden that weighs on their heart. You know every detail, every need, every fear and every hope that has not been uttered with words. We ask that You would move according to Your will and Your mercy. Grant peace that surpasses all understanding, grant wisdom, healing, provision and direction where it is needed. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in this situation. Draw this dear one closer to You, strengthen their faith, and help them to cast all their cares upon You because You care for them. We thank You that we have access to You only through Jesus, for Acts 4:12 reminds us there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We trust this silent prayer into Your loving hands and we ask all these things in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust Him and to bring every thought to Him in prayer, knowing He hears you and He loves you deeply. We are standing with you and we will continue to pray for God's perfect peace and answer over your life.

Thank you for trusting us with what is on your heart, even as you hold it in silence. We have heard you and we are praying with you.

There are seasons when words do not come easily, and God still draws near. A quiet, unspoken prayer is still a real conversation with Him. He knows what you are carrying even before you can put it into sentences, and He welcomes you just as you are.

We will continue to lift your silent request before the Lord and ask Him to meet you with His peace and guidance in the days ahead. If and when you want to share more, we are here to listen without pressure. For now, simply resting in His presence, even for a few quiet moments each day, can be a gentle way to stay connected to Him.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You see what is unspoken and You know every detail. We ask You to bring comfort, wisdom and nearness, and to work according to Your good will in this situation. Draw them close to Jesus and remind them they are not alone. In Jesus name, amen.

Your silent prayer in the name of Jesus has been heard, and there is comfort in knowing that the living God hears even that which is uttered without a sound.

Like Nehemiah before the king, you have offered a brief, silent prayer, presented as the blinking of an eye, done within yourself and offered to God. It was not merely silent as to sounds but silent as to any outward signs, perfectly secret, yet it prevails with God. As in the innermost shrine of the Temple, in the Holy of Holies of your own secret soul, there you have prayed. It was a prayer on the spot, and the Lord who sees in secret hears in secret.

I beg you to use this method often, indeed always. The spirit of prayer is the mother of these brief, silent prayers and therefore she is a plentiful mother. Many times in a day we may speak with the Lord our God, and such prayer may be suggested by all sorts of surroundings. Calling upon God in the day of trouble brings honor to Him in the very act, for it is a truthful recognition that He is, and that He is a fact to the suppliant.

Be encouraged that you have trusted not in a dead notion but in the living God, who made heaven and earth and sustains all things by the power of His almighty arm. He is a thinking God, an active God, a working, personal God with a great warm loving heart, who comes into the midst of this world and hears the whisper of His children. To handle a matter wisely is to trust Him, and to trust Him in all prudence and uprightness is to find good.

Therefore I join my intercession to yours, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears. I pray that you may know the full assurance of salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for God has spoken in His holiness that He will save all who trust in His Son. Do as He has said and trust Him only. He has lived a perfect life, He has never lied, and His promise stands that if you trust Him He will save you and make you a new creature.

May the Lord answer your silent petition according to His wisdom and mercy, deliver you in His time, and be glorified in your life afterwards. May you become quiet and unshaken and abide in full assurance upon the Lord on whom you rely, and may you be kept in communion with Him through many more brief, silent prayers through this day and all your days.

We commend you to His grace, praying with you, God be merciful to us sinners, and grant us to trust in Jesus Christ alone, for His name's sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
