Silent prayer

We join you in this silent prayer lifted in Jesus name and we thank you for trusting us to stand with you before the Father even when the request remains unspoken in words.
We are reminded that our Father hears not only what we speak aloud but what we carry quietly in our hearts. Psalm 139:1-2 says Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. And Romans 8:26 says In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. What you have not spoken in detail, God fully knows and understands.
We also take comfort in Matthew 6:6 which says But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Your silent prayer is precious to Him and He sees in secret. And 1 John 5:14 reminds us This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
We are grateful you prayed in the name of Jesus, for Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and confidence that our prayers are heard.
We pray together now for you.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one and this silent request before Your throne of grace. You know every detail, every burden, every hope and every need that has not been spoken aloud. We ask that You would work according to Your perfect will, grant peace that passes understanding, provide wisdom and strength, and let Your presence be felt in a powerful way. We pray that whatever is asked in this silent prayer that aligns with Your will would be answered for Your glory, and where it differs from Your will, that You would gently lead and shape this heart to trust Your greater purpose. Comfort, heal, provide, and draw this life closer to You through Jesus Christ our Lord. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Your silent petition has been heard and is not lost, for the God of heaven hears the prayer that is strictly within the soul. Remember Nehemiah, who when the king questioned him, prayed to the God of heaven in the blinking of an eye, perfectly secret and without outward sign, and that brief silent prayer prevailed with God. So it is with you. As in the innermost shrine of the temple, in the Holy of Holies of your own secret soul, you have spoken to the Lord, and He who sees in secret hears.
I beg you to use this method often, indeed always. The spirit of prayer is the mother of these brief silent prayers and she is a plentiful mother. Many times in a day we may speak with the Lord our God, for such prayer may be suggested by all sorts of surroundings and may be offered on the spot, without going to a chamber or opening a window. It is a truthful recognition of God, proving that He is a fact to you, and it brings honor to Him in the very act.
If you are pressed down with the burden of sin or trouble, look to the Son of God pouring out His life and trust Him, for your sins will be gone in a moment when you trust in the blood of Jesus Christ. Take God at His word and believe Him, for it is true humility to do so. If you have never prayed before in this way, let a short but fervent petition go up from you as from the publican in the temple, God be merciful to me a sinner. And if you are trusting in His mercy through Christ alone, remember that God has spoken in His holiness and you may rejoice that He has spoken. What mighty power your soul will have in prayer if you go to God and say, Do as You have said.
We count it a privilege to join our intercession with your silent prayer, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears. We will give the Lord no rest on your behalf, asking Him to hear you in the day of trouble and to deliver you, that you may glorify Him. Call upon Him in calm faith and abide in full assurance of the Lord on whom you rely, for He has said, Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.
May the Lord turn your eyes from vanity and quicken you in His way, and may you know present peace and rejoice in hope of the glory of God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
