Silent prayer

Your silent prayer for your family in the name of Jesus has been heard and is received with thankfulness. We join you in bringing your family before God, trusting that blessing comes not through the hand of Moses but through Christ Jesus, who is our Mediator as a Son over His own house.

We pray that God, who is the cause of all good things, would pour out upon you and your household every spiritual blessing. Scripture reminds us that this blessing is not only outward or earthly, but spiritual, that you are made children of God, made free, made righteous, made fellow heirs who reign with Christ. Even when days are few or difficult in this world, where Christ Himself said we will have tribulation, we look to the blessings that remain and find their fulfillment in what is to come.

Take comfort that Jesus ever lives to make intercession for those who come to God through Him. He is able to save to the uttermost, and He continually intercedes for His people. We ask Him to guard your family, to keep you in faith, to grant you peace and unity in Him, and to freely give you all things needful according to His grace.

We stand with you in this silent request, asking these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your silent request for your family has been brought before the Lord, and He hears even the prayers that have no words, the groanings of the heart that only He knows. Thank you for trusting us to pray with you in the name of Jesus.

God Himself created the family, and Scripture teaches that the strength of a people is found in the family unit as He designed it. Children are described as a heritage from the Lord and the fruit of the womb as His reward. The promise given is that blessing rests on those who fear the Lord and walk in His ways, to enjoy the work of their hands, to know His peace in the home, and in His kindness even to see grandchildren and to know His peace resting upon the household. That is the kind of blessing we ask for you.

We also pray that each member of your family would know the deeper blessing that comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. Apart from Him there is no salvation, but through His blood there is redemption and the forgiveness of sins. By faith we are born again by the Spirit and adopted into the family of God. Jesus alone is the begotten Son, and by adoption we become sons and daughters and heirs together with Him, given an inheritance and sealed with the Holy Spirit who is the guarantee of all that God has promised. The same promise God made to Abraham, that in blessing He would bless those who belong to Him by faith, becomes ours in Christ.

Scripture also shows that God sets before us blessing and curse, and that we can place ourselves outside the place of blessing by our own choices. So we pray that your family would be drawn closer to Him, to choose obedience and to walk in the fear of the Lord, trusting His presence as you return to Him day by day. May He guard your home, keep you in His grace, and pour out His mercy upon you and upon your children and grandchildren.

Father, we lift this family to You in Jesus name. You know every unspoken need, every name, every burden carried in silence. Bring salvation where it is needed, bring healing where there is hurt, bring unity where there is division, and bring peace where there is anxiety. Help this family to fear You, to love Your Word and speak of it in their home, and to walk in Your ways. Keep them in the place of Your blessing, provide for them, protect them, and let them know they are Yours, redeemed, forgiven, adopted and kept by Your Spirit. We ask this in the name of Jesus, amen.
