Hi please pray for my daughter that her job won't end. They said it might only be for this year. But she's finally making money. And she's been working toward her master's degree for years. She really needs this job for her family because her husband can't work because he had to get a pacemaker because he had a heart attack and she's got a kid. Thanks

We join you in lifting up your daughter and her family before the Lord and we thank you for sharing this burden with us. We rejoice with you that after years of diligent work toward her master's degree she is finally seeing fruit from her labor and is able to provide for her family. We know how heavy it must feel to hear that her job may only last through this year, especially when her husband is unable to work after a heart attack and receiving a pacemaker and there is a young child to care for.

We stand on the promise that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 and that He knows the needs of His children. Jesus reminds us not to be anxious saying But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. We also cling to the assurance that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Even if this position is described as temporary, we know that God is not temporary and His provision does not run out. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.

We affirm and thank God for your daughter's marriage. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God, and we praise Him that she and her husband are walking through this trial together as one flesh. We pray that the Lord will strengthen their marriage, deepen their unity in Christ, and use this season to draw them closer to each other and to Him. We also pray for her husband's complete healing and strength, for the child's well being, and for your daughter to have wisdom and endurance as she works heartily as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23 while completing her studies. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead we will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His name and by His blood that we can boldly bring every need to God, including this job and this family's future.

So we pray together, Father in heaven, we come to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this daughter to You, her husband and their child. Lord, You see her years of perseverance in her education, You see her faithfulness at work, and You see the weight she carries as the provider for her household. We ask for Your mercy and provision, that if it is Your will You would move upon her employers to extend this job beyond this year or to open an even better door that will allow her to continue to provide and use the gifts You have given her. Provide for this family day by day, meet every financial need, and give them peace that passes understanding. Touch her husband's heart and body, bring healing and strength after his heart attack and pacemaker, and comfort him in his inability to work. Guard their child and let this home be filled with Your presence. Help this dear mother to not grow weary in doing good, to finish her master's degree with excellence, and to trust You even when the future feels uncertain. We pray that this family would seek You first above all else and experience Your faithful supply. We ask all this in the name of Jesus our Savior and Provider, Amen.

We encourage your daughter to continue to walk faithfully, to bring her petitions to the Lord daily, and to trust that whether this job continues or God provides in another way, He will not forsake those who trust in Him. We are standing with you in prayer for God's perfect will to be done and for His peace to guard your hearts.

It is a lot for her to carry, being the one able to work right now while her husband recovers from his heart attack and pacemaker, and still keeping up with school and parenting. Having your support and your prayers matters more than you may know.

One gentle way to help her in the waiting is to help her get clarity where she can. If she is comfortable, encouraging her to ask her supervisor what the timeline really looks like and whether an extension is possible can take away some of the guessing. And since the financial pressure touches the whole household, it can also help to sit down with someone trusted to look at the months ahead together, like a financial counselor through her employer, bank, or a local church or community agency that offers budgeting help. Having a plan for different outcomes does not replace prayer, but it can ease some of the daily worry as you keep praying.

Father, we bring ###'s daughter before You, along with her husband and their child. You see the work she has done, the needs of her family, and the uncertainty about this job. Provide for them day by day, give wisdom to those making decisions about her position, and give her guidance and peace as she cares for her family and continues her studies. Sustain her husband and keep this family in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Hello friend, I will pray for divine protection over your daughter and that no matter what, God's will blesses her with sustained abundance, prosperity and opportunity so that she can take care of her family. I ask that God provides for her favorably for her peace of mind and security. And so it is. Amen

Your request for your daughter and her household has been laid before the Lord with sincere sympathy, and we join our hearts with yours in intercession.

We understand the weight she carries, laboring for years toward her master's degree, now at last finding provision through this employment, while also bearing care for her husband in his bodily affliction and for their child. The uncertainty of whether the work will continue beyond this year is a heavy trial, and it is right to bring it to Him who numbers our days and orders our steps.

The history of Job has been set before us for such an hour. Of him it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He was stripped and yet he worshipped, he was sore afflicted and yet he kept right with God. And again it is written, The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery when God has gotten His purpose in them. Job thought his glory was withered, but the Lord renewed his bow in his hand and at the last gave him twice as much as he had before. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows knows what His children have need of before they ask.

Let us therefore not restrain prayer before God, but make our approach unto Him in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown, trusting that whether He continues this employment or opens another door, He will not forsake those who trust in His Son.

We pray together:

O Father, merciful and faithful, we thank Thee that salvation is in Jesus Christ alone, and that through His blood we have access to Thy throne. We lift before Thee this daughter, her husband and their child. Thou knowest her labor in study, her diligence in her calling, and the needs of her household. We ask Thee to provide for them according to Thy wisdom and goodness. If it be Thy will, preserve this employment and establish the work of her hands. Grant skill and strength to her husband, comfort him in his infirmity since his heart attack and the placing of the pacemaker, and sustain him day by day. Give to this family contentment and patience under trial, and faith to say with Job, Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Keep them from unbelieving and complaining speech, and anoint them with fresh oil. Above all, keep them near the cross of Christ, walking in Thy ways, and let their home be ordered in holiness and love. Hear our prayer for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.
