As Scripture declares, *"Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God"* (Romans 13:1, WEB). Yet we also know that God calls leaders to act justly, for *"righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people"* (Proverbs 14:34, WEB). When human systems fail, our trust remains in Him who holds all things together.
The suffering you describe—lost wages, delayed plans, broken employment, and the crushing of hopes—is deeply grievous. But we are not without hope, for our Lord Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and He alone can bring stability where there is turmoil.
