We come before the Lord with you in this time of physical struggle, lifting up your need for healing and restoration. The breath of life is a precious gift from God, and we know that He is deeply concerned with every part of our being—body, soul, and spirit. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:17-19**, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your request is heard by a God who is faithful and compassionate, and we stand with you in faith, asking for His healing touch upon your lungs and body.
We also recall the words of Jesus in **Matthew 11:28-30**, where He invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest. Physical ailments can weigh heavily on us, but Christ offers peace that transcends our circumstances. If there is any anxiety or fear accompanying this struggle, we pray that the Lord would replace it with His perfect peace, as **Philippians 4:6-7** encourages us: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
At the same time, we encourage you to seek wise medical counsel if you haven’t already, for God often uses the hands of doctors and the wisdom of medicine to bring about healing. **Proverbs 11:14** tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* Do not hesitate to pursue the care you need while trusting the Lord for your complete restoration.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child who is experiencing shortness of breath. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed their body with care and purpose. We ask that You would touch their lungs and respiratory system, removing any obstruction, inflammation, or disease that is causing this difficulty. Breathe Your healing breath into them, Lord, just as You breathed life into Adam in the beginning. Let every cell and organ function as You designed it to, in perfect harmony and strength.
We rebuked any spirit of infirmity or sickness in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding it to leave and not return. By the authority given to us through the blood of Jesus, we declare health and wholeness over this body, for it is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Father, we thank You that by the stripes of Jesus, we *are* healed (**Isaiah 53:5**), and we stand on that promise today.
If there is any fear or doubt in their heart, Lord, replace it with faith and trust in You. Remind them that You are near, that You hear their cries, and that You are working all things together for their good (**Romans 8:28**). Strengthen them, Lord, not just physically but spiritually, that they may walk in victory and testify of Your goodness.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You are sovereign over all things. May this trial draw them closer to You and deepen their reliance on Your grace. We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We will continue to uphold you in prayer, believing for your complete healing. If this condition persists or worsens, we strongly encourage you to seek medical attention, trusting that God can work through those He has gifted in the field of medicine. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (**Hebrews 12:2**), and may you feel His presence and peace in a powerful way during this time.
