We join with you in prayer for relief from this recurring shingles pain and the pain in your arm, and for the sleeplessness you are enduring, and we bring your suffering before our Father in Jesus' name.
We know how wearing and painful shingles can be, especially when it returns and when it steals your sleep, and we are reminded that our God sees your affliction and is compassionate toward you. We take comfort in His promises that He is our healer and our rest. Psalm 103:2-3 says Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Jeremiah 30:17 declares But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Isaiah 53:5 which says But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Jesus invites us to bring our weariness to Him, for Matthew 11:28 says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And for your sleeplessness we pray the promise of Psalm 4:8 that In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, we lift up our dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You know the burning and aching of this shingles pain and the pain in the arm, and You know the nights without sleep. We ask for Your healing touch upon this body that You created. Lay Your hand upon the nerves and skin and bring soothing and restoration. Ease the inflammation and pain, calm the discomfort, and let this recurring affliction be healed according to Your will. Grant deep, peaceful and restorative sleep tonight and in the nights to come. Quiet the mind and body and let Your peace guard this heart. We ask that You guide the hands of doctors and any treatment needed and give wisdom for care and recovery. Strengthen faith in this time of trial and let Your presence be felt as comfort and hope. We thank You that You are near to all who call on You and that by the name of Jesus we have access to Your throne of grace. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our healer and our peace. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek medical care as God often works through physicians and proper treatment, to rest as you are able, and to keep calling upon the Lord through His Word and prayer. James 5:14-15 reminds us Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Do not hesitate to ask trusted believers to pray over you in person as well. We are standing with you and trusting God for His mercy, healing and sweet sleep to be restored to you.

We've been holding you in our thoughts, and we can hear how exhausting this has been. Recurring shingles pain is hard enough, and with added arm pain and nights without sleep, everything can feel so much heavier. Yes, Lord, we thank You for sending Jesus Christ to be born of a virgin, live a holy and powerful life, suffer and die for our sins, be raised to life the third day according to The Scriptures, rose from the dead and appeared to many witnesses, Acts 10:40, 1 Cor 15:3-5, ascended to heaven, sat down at Your right hand, sent the Promised Holy Spirit of Adoption with LOVE, Rom 5:5 and for the hope of being like JESUS when He appears, Phil 3:20-21, which hope causes us to walk holy as He is holy, 1 Jn 3:1-3.
We thank You Jesus is at Your Right Hand, Rom 8:34, ever lives to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, not only that our faith will not fail, Luke 22:32, but that we are continually revived by Your Spirit and Word, Jn 6:63, and cleansed and kept pure by Your Word and Fellowship, Jn 17:9-17,Jn 15:7-8. We also thank You for all who have ever prayed for us in the past and ask blessing upon them richly, Gen 12:3. We pray the prayer You taught us, Luke 11:1-5, for them to know You as Father, to honor Your Name, to experience the fruit, gifts, wisdom and power of The Kingdom of God, the Daily bread we need for our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength, relationships, intellectual needs and relationships. Pardon of our sins and those that sin and transgress or have transgressed in the past we release and ask they are blessed, saved and prosper in every way, 3 Jn 1:2, keep us from temptation, sin, 1 Cor 8:1, fear and lies, Zeph 3:13, evil people, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Thes 3:2, deception Matt 24:4 and the evil one, Matt 6:13, Matt 6:9-13, Jn 17:15.
Release the hope and encouragement found in The Scriptures, Rom 15:4-6, so we may have joy and peace in believing, Rom 15:13. We forget none of Your benefits: Pardon of iniquity, healing of diseases, satisfying our years, and crowning our life with loving-kindness and compassion that even our youth is renewed as the eagle's, Ps 103:1-5, especially by the stripes that wounded him, by which we are healed and made complete, Isa 53:5, 1 Peter 2:21-22. We also ask and agree for, Matt 18:19, freedom from all sins, improper thinking and bodily discipline and replacement by the fruit of The Holy Spirit from love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, faithfulness, gentleness, self control, Gal 5:22-23, truth, humility and justice, Ps 45:1-5, as well as godliness with contentment, 1 Tim 6:6, so we may walk in the good woks You prepared for us in advance to do, Eph 2:8-10, for these ones, for ourselves, in all in their regions and ours, bring revival to us and through us to others, Matt 6:10, manifest Your presence, Matt 28:18-20, Isa 64:1-2. We have heard your cry in this night season of pain, and we have carried your burden before the throne of grace. The recurring torment of shingles and the aching of your arm which robs you of sleep are not hidden from Him who numbers our tossings and watches over His own.
There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ our Lord. It is written that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing virtue, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. When He healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Thy sins be forgiven thee, to show that pardon and healing flow from the same pierced hand. And it is also written, So he giveth his beloved sleep, a peculiar sleep of contentment and security which He grants to His children even when the body is weary and worn.
We pray for you now, that the Lord Jesus, the heavenly Physician, would lay His gentle hand upon you. May He ease the burning pain of shingles and the pain in your arm, and may He grant you refreshing sleep to recruit your exhausted strength. May He give you that sleep which belongs to His beloved, quieting your spirit and guarding your heart through the night watches. Seek the help of the physician as the Lord provides, and above all look to Christ Himself, whose blood and grace can heal both soul and body.
May the Lord be near you in this trial, keep you in His peace, and restore to you health and rest in His own good time and will. We commend you to His tender care, praying in the name of Jesus our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

Your cry in this pain has been heard and brought before the Lord, and we are praying for you now in the name of Jesus Christ.
We ask our merciful Father to lay His healing hand upon you, to ease the burning and recurring pain of shingles and the pain in your arm, and to grant you relief that you may sleep and be restored. He knows our frame and has compassion on us in our weakness, and He gives rest to the weary. We pray that He will calm your body, quiet your nerves, and grant you peaceful sleep, and that He will sustain you through each sleepless hour with His presence and comfort.
We also pray that you will know the nearness of Christ in this suffering, that He will strengthen your faith and give you patience and hope, and that you will feel His care through those around you. Dealing with recurring shingles and their bumps on face, it could be worse but it starts at the back of the upper neck leaving dry rash spots and has been going on for 2 or 3 years now. Asking the Mighty Lord’s healing hand on this to finally subside and this new meds will also heal arthritis...
Jesus please heal me. I have something on my upper back that burns, stings, and itches and the area is swollen. I don't know if it is shingles or something else. Please let it clear up. Thank you Jesus, Amen.
I contracted shingles on vacation and it's so bad I don't think I'm going to be able to make it back to work and I'm suffering very bad I have meds from my doctor and it is so bad I can hardly move.
