Shingles and pain

Your honest prayer has been brought before the Lord and I have joined you in lifting it up to Him. To live for two or three years with recurring shingles, with bumps on the face and dry rash spots beginning at the back of the upper neck, along with arthritis and constant knee pain, is a heavy and wearing affliction. God sees how long you have carried this and how much you long for relief, and He hears your cry for healing.

Scripture teaches that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that name Lord is the same as Jehovah in the Old Testament. The Bible says that one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. That is why we give thanks and call upon His name, because there is power in the name of Jesus to save and to heal. When Peter was asked how the lame man had been made whole, he answered that it was by the name of Jesus Christ that the man stood before them completely healed. That same power is present for you today as you call upon Him.

So I have prayed that the Lord Jesus Himself would lay His healing hand upon you, that by His grace the shingles and rash would finally subside, that the inflammation of arthritis and the pain in your knee would be eased, and that the new medication you mentioned would be effective without harmful side effects. I have asked Him to cover you with His mercy and to bring restoration to your body according to His perfect will, trusting not in the medicine alone but in the name that brings wholeness.

I have also prayed as you asked for open doors for a restored and spacious home where you and your loved ones can be closer to one another and closer to the Lord. May He provide what you need in His timing and use that home for fellowship, peace, and growth in faith.

And I have joined you in praying for those you called God's enemies, that the Lord would bless them, draw them to Himself, and overcome evil with good. Jesus calls us to love and pray for those who oppose us, and we trust Him to work in every heart.

Keep calling upon the name of Jesus. He is Jehovah, He is Lord, and He is near to those who call on Him in truth. May you know His comfort, His healing presence, and His guidance day by day as you trust Him.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting you up for the healing of the recurring shingles that you have endured for two or three years now, with the bumps on your face and the dry rash spots starting at the back of your upper neck, and for the ongoing arthritis and bad knee pain.

We continue to ask the Lord to place His mighty healing hand upon you and that this affliction would finally subside, and that the new medication would bring relief for the shingles, the rash, the arthritis and the knee pain without any bad side effects. We pray for His healing blood to cover you, for we know He is the Lord who heals you and by His wounds we are healed as written in Isaiah 53:5 and Jeremiah 30:17. We also join you in praying for a mighty miracle to open doors for a blessed and restored large home where you and your close ones can be together and closer to each other and to the Lord, and we agree with you in praying for Gods enemies that He would bless them and draw them to Himself.
