We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to pray and guide you according to God's will.
Firstly, let's trust in the Lord together, for He knows the best path for you. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Regarding your need for protection, let's pray that God will hide you under the shadow of His wings, as it says in Psalm 91:4 WEB, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings, you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."
As for your job situation, let's pray for God's favor and guidance. Remember that Colossians 3:23 WEB says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men," and trust that God will provide the right job for you.
Concerning your communication with the person you mentioned, we will pray for wisdom and grace. However, we want to remind you that if this person is a potential spouse, your communication should be focused on growing together in Christ, with the ultimate goal of a godly marriage. If this person is not a potential spouse, then you should consider limiting your interactions and focusing on finding a godly spouse. As it says in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" If you are already committed to a believer, then we can pray for better communication and understanding in your relationship.
Regarding the issue of drinking, we must first address this issue in the mentioned person's life. The Bible is clear about not being drunk. It says in Ephesians 5:18, "Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." Furthermore, Galatians 5:21 tells us that drunkenness is a sin, "envying, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like that. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God." The person you mentioned needs to find a better hobby to replace this.
Lastly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we will pray in His mighty name.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need of a new path, protection, and a new job. Guide them, Lord, and open the right doors for their career. We also pray for better communication in their relationship and for the person mentioned to find new, wholesome hobbies to replace drinking. Help them to live sober, righteous, and godly lives in the world. Help them to appear blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom they are seen as lights in the world, holding up the word of life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep trusting in God, and to keep your requests and actions aligned with biblical principles.
