Lord, I thought everything was fine but I need a new path. I need protection and a new job and better communication with ###. For ### to find new hobbies besides drinking.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to pray and guide you according to God's will.
Firstly, let's trust in the Lord together, for He knows the best path for you. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Regarding your need for protection, let's pray that God will hide you under the shadow of His wings, as it says in Psalm 91:4 WEB, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings, you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."
As for your job situation, let's pray for God's favor and guidance. Remember that Colossians 3:23 WEB says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men," and trust that God will provide the right job for you.
Concerning your communication with the person you mentioned, we will pray for wisdom and grace. However, we want to remind you that if this person is a potential spouse, your communication should be focused on growing together in Christ, with the ultimate goal of a godly marriage. If this person is not a potential spouse, then you should consider limiting your interactions and focusing on finding a godly spouse.
