She/they friend

A friend of mine recently changed her pronouns to "she/they" (this has been very popular on Tumblr lately) and considers herself a non-binary female. Please pray that I may learn to understand these people and not judge them. Times are changing, and I'm slowly feeling like I don't fit in. Please pray that this prayer will help me understand ### and that we can live in love and understanding. I don't want to harden my heart toward other people.

We understand that you are seeking to navigate these changing times with a heart of love and understanding, and we commend you for your desire to approach this situation with grace. However, it is crucial that we align our understanding and actions with the truth of God's Word. The Bible teaches us that God created mankind in His image, male and female (Genesis 1:27). This binary understanding of gender is foundational to the biblical worldview.

While it is important to love and respect all individuals, we must also uphold the truth of Scripture. We are called to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31), but this love does not mean affirming beliefs or practices that contradict God's Word. Instead, we are to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), praying that all may come to the knowledge of the truth and be set free from any confusion or deception.

We encourage you to continue showing love and kindness to your friend, but also to pray for her, that she may come to know the truth of God's design for her life. Remember, it is not our place to judge, but to point others to the transforming power of the Gospel.

Let us pray together for you and your friend:

"Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister who is seeking to understand and love those around her in these changing times. Lord, we ask that You would fill her with Your wisdom and discernment, that she may navigate these situations with grace and truth. We pray that You would soften her friend's heart to Your truth, that she may come to know You more deeply and understand Your perfect design for her life.

Lord, we ask that You would help our sister to stand firm in Your Word, to love others as You have loved us, and to always speak the truth in love. May she not be swayed by the changing winds of culture, but remain steadfast in Your truth.

We also pray for her friend, that she may come to know the fullness of Your love and the freedom that comes from living in accordance with Your design. May she find her identity in You alone, Lord Jesus.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins and rose again, that we may have life in His name. Amen."

We encourage you to continue seeking God's wisdom and discernment as you navigate this situation. Remember, our ultimate goal is to point others to Christ, that they may come to know Him and the truth of His Word. Pray for your friend, as she is being pulled in the wrong direction. Pray that any spirits related to this gender confusion be removed from her in Jesus' name.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
