Beloved of All
Dear Lord Jesus, Please help this friend of mine at church. He does not like his parents and Grandparents because they support the IS president. He is pretty far left if not very far left. He works for the government from his home on a computer. But sadly, it seems to cause him weight troubles. He’s pretty heavy and he buys a lot of video games too. Thankfully, he has a college degree married to a pretty woman and has kids. But he’s also very talkative and he reacts to certain situations like conservative supporters or those who don’t like the same media. He does even kind of admits that he can get addicted to video games. At church, he wears his video game, cartoon T-shirts or some sort of T-shirts or sports related T-shirts. Sometimes a button down collar, but not very often even in the winter time. To think if he spent a lot less on video games which he’s even complaining about and saved for more appropriate clothes for his size and I know he’s a bit extra large, but I’m sure he can probably find a few could wear them to church more frequently. Especially since he works from home doesn’t really have to dress up very often apparently, his strongly mistake skated to along with a lot of other people there the guy also suffers autism, and it’s more noticeable than mine. He behaves a lot like a child. He also believes ICE to be cruel to immigrants when in reality they are trying to deport illegal criminal immigrants keeping the citizens and legal immigrants safe. He even complains about his family and says he can never think about them without clenching his fist and wishes something bad to them. I’ve tried to talk to him in a nice way. Please try to change him, help him lose weight by nice clothes, cut down on video games time and money maybe significantly, understand the right way of the Trump government. To be more faithful in Christ. Do that to a lot of my friends at church too, a lot of them still think the President is bad and doing bad things and laughing about it and a lot of them are overweight too. Please help them change to be better people because I’m afraid this will drag them to hell. because the previous president and the president before his first term. And his last opponent all mocked you Lord. This president is bringing Christ back into the country. I am a supporter of him but I don’t always support a lot of the things he does he could be nicer and less tempered and I pray that you fix him too, but his temper is what makes him tough so please help him and people to support In Jesus Name Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this brother in Christ and the concerns shared about his struggles. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that this brother—and all those mentioned—would come to know the depth of Christ’s love and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

Father, we lift up this brother who is wrestling with bitterness toward his family. Your Word commands us to honor our father and mother (Exodus 20:12) and to love even our enemies (Matthew 5:44). The hatred in his heart is a heavy burden, and we ask that You soften it. Replace his anger with Your peace, his resentment with forgiveness, and his clenched fists with open hands of grace. Help him to see his family through Your eyes, Lord, and to extend the same mercy You have shown him. We rebuke the spirit of division and strife in his life and pray for reconciliation where possible.

We also bring before You his struggles with worldly distractions—his spending on video games, his weight, and his appearance. While these may seem like small things, they reflect deeper spiritual battles. Your Word warns us not to be mastered by anything (1 Corinthians 6:12) and to present our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to You (Romans 12:1). Help him to steward his time, resources, and health in a way that honors You. Give him discipline to turn away from excess and toward godly habits, whether in diet, spending, or dress. May his outward appearance reflect the inward transformation You are working in him.

Lord, we also address the political divisions that have taken root in his heart. While we may disagree on earthly matters, we must remember that our citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20). The world will always be divided, but Your people are called to unity in Christ. We pray that this brother would see beyond political affiliations and recognize that no leader—no matter how godly—is the ultimate answer. Only You, Lord, bring true justice, mercy, and redemption. Help him to submit his political views to Your Word and to speak with grace, even when disagreeing with others.

We rebuke the spirit of addiction in his life—whether to video games, anger, or worldly ideologies. Your Word tells us that whoever the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). Break every chain that binds him, Lord, and fill him with a hunger for righteousness. Help him to replace unhealthy habits with godly ones—spending time in Your Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with believers who will encourage him in the faith.

Father, we also lift up his marriage and family. May he lead his household in a way that honors You, cherishing his wife as Christ cherishes the Church (Ephesians 5:25) and raising his children in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Give him wisdom to model humility, patience, and self-control, especially in his interactions with others.

We pray for all those in the church who share similar struggles—those who are overweight, distracted by worldly things, or caught up in political bitterness. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them closer to You. Help them to see that their hope is not in any earthly leader but in the King of Kings. May they lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily entangles (Hebrews 12:1) and run with endurance the race set before them.

Finally, Lord, we pray for our leaders—including the president. We ask that You grant him wisdom, humility, and a heart that seeks Your will. May he govern with justice and righteousness, and may Your people pray for him faithfully (1 Timothy 2:1-2). We also ask that You would raise up godly leaders who fear You and lead with integrity.

We surrender all these concerns to You, trusting that You are able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). May Your will be done in each of these lives, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend, we're here for you and your friend. We've been praying for him, and we want to encourage you both. We know that change takes time, and it's a journey. Let's keep lifting him up in prayer, asking God to help him see his family through God's eyes, to replace bitterness with love, and to find balance in his life.

We also want to remind him, and us all, that our identity is in Christ. It's not about political affiliations or worldly distractions. It's about being children of God, loved unconditionally, and called to love others as He loves us.

Let's keep encouraging him, and each other, to keep growing in faith, to keep seeking God's will, and to keep loving like Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted this dear brother in Christ to our prayers. Together we have lifted him before the throne—asking the Lord to soften his heart toward his family, to break the grip of gaming, to clothe him in dignity that reflects the new man he is in Jesus, and to open his eyes to the truth of God’s Word over every political narrative. We have also prayed for the wider circle of friends at your church, that the Holy Spirit would convict and comfort each one, drawing them into deeper repentance, healthier habits, and a clearer vision of Christ’s lordship over every area of life.

If you have seen any glimmer of change—even a kinder word, a shorter gaming session, or a moment of quiet reflection—we would love to hear it so we can join you in thanksgiving. If the battle still rages, please post this need again and we will continue to stand with you, storming heaven until every stronghold is torn down and every heart is surrendered. May the peace of Christ guard your own heart as you keep loving, keep praying, and keep pointing others to the Savior who alone can transform them from the inside out. In Jesus’ Name.
