We hear your anguish, your desperation, and your cry for help, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. Your suffering is not unseen by the Lord, who collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8) and knows the depth of your pain even when no one else does. The physical torment you describe—bone loss, tissue wasting, systemic inflammation, and the agony of organs failing—is more than any human should bear, and we stand with you in this battle, declaring that God is your healer (Exodus 15:26) and your strength in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play here. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and the suffering you describe is not just a medical mystery but a spiritual assault. Long COVID, like the afflictions of Job, may be permitted by God for a season, but it is not His ultimate will for you. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity, the spirit of death, and the spirit of despair that has taken hold of your body and mind. In the name of Jesus, we command every cell in your body to align with God’s original design—whole, healthy, and restored. We declare that your bones will be made strong (Proverbs 16:24), your tissues will regenerate (Jeremiah 30:17), and your organs will function as God intended (Psalm 103:3). The inflammation must cease, the pain must flee, and your body must submit to the authority of Christ, who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains (Isaiah 53:4-5).
We also rebuke the lies of the enemy that have crept into your heart—lies that this suffering is permanent, that God has abandoned you, or that death is the only escape. The thief comes to whisper these things, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that your healing is not just possible but promised. The same God who raised Lazarus from the dead (John 11:43-44) and healed the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:34) is the same God who hears your cry today. We stand on the truth that by His stripes, you *are* healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we will not relent until that truth manifests in your body.
We must also address the systemic failures you’ve encountered—the dismissive doctors, the lack of research, the feeling of being treated as a burden rather than a patient. This is not just a medical failure but a failure of compassion, and we pray for divine intervention in the hearts of those who have the power to help. We ask God to raise up doctors, researchers, and advocates who will fight for those suffering from long COVID, who will not turn a blind eye to your pain. We pray for breakthroughs in treatment, for funding to be released, and for the truth about this disease to be exposed. The Lord frustrates the plans of the wicked (Psalm 33:10), and we declare that any agenda to harm or neglect the suffering will be overturned by His justice.
Now, to the matter of your faith: You have believed, you have claimed your healing, and yet the pain remains. We want you to know that your faith is not in vain. The delay is not denial. The woman with the issue of blood suffered for twelve years before she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment (Mark 5:25-34). The blind man in John 9 was born blind so that God’s works might be revealed in him. Your suffering has a purpose, even if that purpose is not yet clear. But we also declare that the time for your breakthrough is now. The enemy has had his season of torment, but this is the season of your deliverance. We speak to the mountains of pain, of inflammation, of organ failure, and we command them to be cast into the sea (Mark 11:23). We speak to your colon, your bones, your muscles, and we declare restoration and function in Jesus’ name.
We also want to gently remind you that your healing is not just physical but spiritual. Have you fully surrendered this battle to the Lord? Are you holding onto bitterness, fear, or unbelief that could be hindering your breakthrough? The Bible says that the prayer of faith will heal the sick (James 5:15), but faith must be coupled with surrender. We encourage you to examine your heart and release any unforgiveness—toward the doctors who dismissed you, the government you feel has failed you, even toward God if you’ve questioned His goodness. Unforgiveness is a weight that can delay healing (Mark 11:25). We pray that the Holy Spirit would search your heart and reveal anything that needs to be confessed and released.
And to the matter of salvation: We notice that your plea did not mention the name of Jesus, though your faith in God is evident. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, to repent of any sin, and to invite Him to be the center of your healing journey. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7) and breaks every chain of sickness and oppression. If you have already done this, we pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit to strengthen you in this battle.
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is suffering beyond what words can express. Lord, You see her pain, You hear her cries, and You collect every tear. We ask that You would move mightily on her behalf. We declare that she is not forgotten, she is not abandoned, and she is not without hope. You are the God who heals, the God who restores, and the God who performs miracles.
In the name of Jesus, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity, every spirit of death, and every spirit of despair that has taken hold of her body. We command the inflammation to cease, the pain to flee, and her body to be restored to perfect health. We speak to her bones, and we declare strength. We speak to her tissues, and we declare regeneration. We speak to her organs, and we declare function. We speak to her colon, and we declare that it will work as You designed it to. Every cell in her body must align with Your will for wholeness.
Lord, we ask that You would raise up doctors, researchers, and advocates who will fight for her and others like her. Frustrate the plans of the enemy to keep this disease hidden and untreated. Expose the truth, release the funding, and bring healing to the thousands suffering in silence.
We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon her. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her faith when it wavers. Remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5). Give her the grace to endure, the strength to fight, and the patience to wait for Your perfect timing.
Father, if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unbelief in her heart, we ask that You would reveal it and help her to release it. Cleanse her heart, renew her mind, and restore her soul. We declare that she is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we thank You that You are working even now. We thank You for the miracle that is on the way. We declare that her testimony will be one of Your glory and power. She will rise from this battle stronger in faith, deeper in love with You, and a living testimony to Your healing power.
We ask all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which every knee shall bow. Amen.
Hold on, dear sister. Your breakthrough is coming. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the dead, and who heals the sick is fighting for you. Do not lose heart. We stand with you, we pray with you, and we believe with you that your healing is here. The pain will not have the final say—Jesus will.
