Beloved of All
Hello, I’ve had major setbacks through the years. Attacks on my health, finances currently, facing homelessness, falsely accused on the job, short on money, car accident, breathing issues, attack in eyesight. It’s storm after storm and I can’t feel effective for God’s kingdom during this time. My life is full of sorrow and I can’t believe that it will get better. I asked in Jesus name for certain people’s hearts to be softened and the opposite occurred. I was viciously attacked. Right now I’m not even sure if I’m a child of God. I am thankful that my body still functions properly but other circumstances are out of control.

We hear the deep anguish in your heart, and we stand with you in this season of relentless storms. The weight of health struggles, financial strain, false accusations, and the looming threat of homelessness would test the faith of any believer. Yet even in this, we declare that your identity as a child of God is not defined by your circumstances, but by the unchanging truth of His Word. You are seen, known, and deeply loved by the Father, even when the enemy seeks to convince you otherwise.

First, let us address the doubt that has crept into your heart about your standing with God. The enemy often attacks our assurance when we are weak, but Scripture is clear: *"For you didn’t receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’ The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God"* (Romans 8:15-16). If you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are His child—no storm can change that. The very fact that you are wrestling with these questions is evidence of the Holy Spirit at work within you, for the unbelieving world does not seek God in this way.

We must also rebuke the lies that have taken root in your mind. The enemy is a thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he has been relentless in his attacks against you. But we declare that Jesus came so that you might have life—and have it abundantly. The setbacks you’ve faced are not a sign of God’s abandonment, but an opportunity for His power to be made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). The attacks on your health, finances, and reputation are not random; they are spiritual warfare, and we take authority over them in the name of Jesus. We command every assignment of the enemy against you to be broken now, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

You mentioned praying for hearts to be softened, only to face vicious attacks instead. Beloved, this is not a failure on your part or God’s. The enemy often retaliates when we step into our calling, but we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). The opposition you faced does not mean God did not hear your prayers—it means the enemy is threatened by them. We pray that God would give you the strength to persevere, knowing that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), even when the immediate outcome seems painful.

We also want to gently address the sorrow that has overwhelmed you. It is not wrong to grieve—Jesus Himself wept (John 11:35)—but we must not allow sorrow to drown out hope. The psalmist cried out, *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God!"* (Psalm 42:5). Your hope is not in your circumstances improving, but in the God who holds your circumstances in His hands. We pray that He would lift the heaviness from your heart and replace it with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up every burden they carry. Lord, You see the storms raging in their life—health struggles, financial hardship, false accusations, and the weight of homelessness looming over them. We ask that You would be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that You are their Provider, their Healer, and their Defender, and we stand in agreement that every attack of the enemy against them would be turned around for their good.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of doubt that has whispered lies to their heart. We declare that they are Your child, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). We ask that You would restore their assurance and fill them with Your peace. Where the enemy has sought to steal their joy, we pray that You would restore it sevenfold (Proverbs 6:31).

Lord, we ask for a financial breakthrough in this season. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and we trust that You will provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray for favor in their workplace, for doors of opportunity to open, and for every false accusation to be exposed and silenced. We declare that their eyesight and breathing would be strengthened, and that You would heal every area of their body that is under attack.

Father, we ask that You would give them a fresh vision for their life and purpose. Even in this season of waiting, we pray that You would use them mightily for Your kingdom. Show them how to walk in faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), and help them to trust You even when the path ahead is unclear. Surround them with godly community who will stand with them in prayer and encouragement.

We thank You, Lord, that You are working all things together for their good, and we declare that this season of setbacks will not define them. Instead, it will refine them, strengthen their faith, and draw them closer to You. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One who has overcome the world (John 16:33). Amen.

Beloved, we want to leave you with this encouragement: God has not forgotten you. The same God who parted the Red Sea, shut the mouths of lions, and raised Jesus from the dead is at work in your life. You may not see the breakthrough yet, but that does not mean it is not coming. Keep standing on His promises, keep praying, and keep trusting. Your story is not over—God is writing a testimony of His faithfulness through you, and we believe that the best is yet to come.

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling the weight of the relentless storms you've been facing. It's overwhelming, we know, but remember, even in the darkest nights, God is near. He sees you, He knows you, and He loves you deeply.

We want to remind you of something powerful: God is not surprised by your circumstances. He sees every challenge, every setback, and He's using them to shape you, to strengthen your faith, and to draw you closer to Him. It might not feel like it right now, but these trials are not random; they're opportunities for God's power to be made perfect in your weakness.

We also want to encourage you to keep praying, even when it's hard. Even when it feels like your prayers aren't being heard, keep crying out to God. He is listening, and He's working things out for your good, even if you can't see it yet.

Let's declare this together: Your identity is not defined by your circumstances, but by the unchanging truth of God's Word. You are a child of God, loved, known, and seen by your Father in heaven. No storm can change that.

We're standing with you, praying for you, and believing with you that God is going to turn these setbacks around for your good. Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep praying. Your story is not over; God is writing a testimony of His faithfulness through you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for trusting us with the heavy burdens you’ve carried—setbacks that have touched nearly every part of your life. It’s clear how deeply these storms have weighed on your heart, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, ineffective, and even questioning your place in God’s family. Please know we haven’t stopped lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to intervene in your health, finances, safety, and peace of mind.

We’ve prayed for those whose hearts you hoped would soften, asking God to work even when the response seemed harsh or unfair. We’ve asked Him to remind you of His unchanging love, especially in moments when doubt creeps in. And we’ve pleaded for His provision—whether that means shelter from homelessness, financial relief, healing for your eyes and breathing, or simply the strength to endure another day.

If any of these prayers have been answered, even in small ways, we’d be so encouraged to hear about it. Your praise report could be a light for others walking through similar darkness. But if the weight still feels unbearable and the answers haven’t come yet, please don’t hesitate to post again. We’re here to stand with you, to keep knocking on heaven’s door, and to remind you that God sees you, hears you, and hasn’t forgotten His promises.

You are not alone in this fight. We’ll continue to pray for breakthrough, for comfort, and for the Holy Spirit to fill the places where sorrow has taken root. May the Lord wrap you in His peace, restore what’s been lost, and reveal His faithfulness in ways you can’t yet imagine. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
