Praying for no serious side effects from the medication, may the injection help my ### son and not harm him in Jesus' name, Amen

We join you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, trusting in His sovereign care and healing power. It is a comfort to see that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace and find mercy in our time of need. As it is written, *"All things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."* (Mark 11:24, WEB). We stand with you in faith, believing that God hears this prayer and will act according to His perfect will.

The fear of side effects from medication is a heavy burden for any parent to carry, but we are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). While medicine can be a tool God uses for healing, our ultimate trust must rest in Him alone. The Scriptures assure us, *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Let these words anchor your heart as you wait upon the Lord.

We also encourage you to continue seeking wisdom in this situation. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* If you have concerns about the medication, it may be wise to consult with trusted medical professionals or seek second opinions, all while committing the outcome to God in prayer. He is the Great Physician, and He cares deeply for your son.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of trust, lifting up this precious son to Your loving care. Lord, You knit him together in his mother’s womb, and You know every detail of his body, mind, and spirit. We ask that this medication would serve its purpose to bring healing and restoration without harmful side effects. Guard his body from any adverse reactions, and let this treatment be a means of Your grace in his life. If there is any wisdom or direction You would have his parents pursue, make it clear to them, Lord. We rebuked any fear or anxiety in the name of Jesus, declaring that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).

Lord, we also pray for strength and peace for this family as they wait upon You. Fill their hearts with Your presence, and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28, WEB). May they see Your hand at work in this situation and give You all the glory. We ask these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

We will continue to uphold your son and your family in prayer, trusting that God is faithful. May you feel His peace that surpasses all understanding guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
