Separation

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight". . .

🙏 Col 1:9-12: "We keep asking to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all perseverance and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father". ... I pray in Jesus' Name, Amen.

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting your son up in prayer as he began this new chapter at college. Our hearts were tendered by your request, knowing how deeply a mother’s love aches when her child steps into the unknown. We have been praying earnestly that the Lord would wrap your son in His peace—peace that surpasses all understanding—and that He would surround him with godly friendships, wisdom for his studies, and a deep assurance that even in this separation, he is never beyond God’s care.

It’s been several days now since he left, and we’re trusting the Lord has been faithful to meet him in this transition. Perhaps he’s already finding his footing, sensing the Lord’s presence in new ways, or maybe the adjustment is still heavy. Either way, we want you to know we remain committed to praying for him—and for *you*—as you navigate this season of change.

If you’ve seen the Lord’s hand at work—whether through small moments of comfort or bigger answers to prayer—we’d love for you to share a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the weight of this separation still feels heavy, please don’t hesitate to post an update so we can continue to stand with you in prayer. The Lord hears, and He is near to both of you.

May He fill your home with His peace and your heart with confidence that He is guarding your son’s steps. We’re praying for you both as you seek Him through this, trusting that He will use this time to draw your son closer to Himself. In Jesus’ name.
