We have heard your cry and we join with you together before our Father in Jesus' name, lifting up your urgent need for the sale of your home and for your husband's health and for your own weary heart.
We understand how heavy these five months have felt, and how broken and overwhelmed you feel when it seems God is not hearing. We want to gently remind you that He does hear, and He is near. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And Psalm 61:2 says When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. You are not forgotten or unheard, even when the answer has not yet come.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray and are heard.
We pray together for your home. We ask the Lord to provide a buyer quickly according to His perfect will and timing, and to give you wisdom in this process. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And Philippians 4:6 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. We pray that God will open the right door, that He will grant you favor and peace, and that even in the waiting He will show you that Romans 8:28 is true, that We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
We also lift up your husband and his health. We ask our great Physician to touch his body and restore him. Psalm 103:3 says who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And James 5:15 says The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We pray for complete healing, for strength, for wisdom for any doctors caring for him, and for comfort for you both as you walk through this together in the lifelong covenant of marriage that God has ordained between a man and a woman.
And we pray for you, for mercy, strength and help in this overwhelmed season. 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Philippians 4:7 promises And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
So we pray, Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We ask for Your mercy upon this dear sister and her husband. Lord, You see the house that has not sold, You know the financial pressure and the urgency, and we ask that You provide the right buyer in Your timing and grant a swift sale if it is Your will. We ask for healing for her husband, that You would restore his health to normal and renew his strength. We ask that You lift this sister's broken and overwhelmed heart, remind her that You hear every prayer, and fill her with Your peace and strength to endure. Help her to cast every anxiety on You and to seek first Your Kingdom. We ask that You draw both of them closer to Jesus and to each other in this trial. We trust You are working even when we cannot see. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Continue to care for your husband's health with wise medical counsel while trusting the Lord as your ultimate healer, and seek godly counsel for the sale of the home as you wait on the Lord. If your husband has not been seen recently for his health concerns, we encourage you to stay in touch with his doctor or clinic and let them know what you are noticing, and we will keep praying for his healing and for wisdom for those caring for him. For the house, if you are working with an agent, it may help to ask for a candid update on feedback from showings and what options you have in your current market, just so you have clearer next steps rather than more uncertainty. And if there is one trusted person, pastor or friend nearby, consider letting them walk with you week by week.

Your cry in this long season of waiting has been heard, and the heaviness you describe, broken and overwhelmed after five months without a sale and with your husband's health weighing upon you, is not hidden from the Lord.
It is honest to tell Him exactly as it is, even that you feel He is not hearing you. There are times when there seems to be no feeling left, and the word to you then is, come and tell the Lord that you do not feel. He is not mocked and He is not deceived, He sees us as we are, and He invites plain dealing. To say, God be merciful to me a sinner, though you dare not lift up your eyes to heaven, is a prayer the eyes of heaven do not despise. When the heart is searched and sin is confessed, pardon is granted, and with pardon comes healing.
You have spoken of needing mercy, strength, healing and help. Know this, the Physician is at the right hand of God, and Jesus is set before us as a tree whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. His common mercies, His lower blessings of grace, are full of virtue, and that medicine heals all sorts of diseases. Some of us can bear glad witness to its matchless power. When the worst has come to the worst and your own strength fails, there remains a truth fraught with comfort, that when nothing else is left you, God remains and God appears. Your strength then shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble.
The Lord knows what it is to be a Husband to His people. He found His own in a desert land, in a howling wilderness, and He has given rest in the house of His love, a peace which passes all understanding. Though you may feel married and not know it, God your Husband, and you scarce thinking of Him in the crush of care, He has not forgotten the relation. He takes care of the little things, the trifles, of believers. The choosing of a house, the selling of a house, the health of a husband, none of these are trifles to Him. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you in the measure and timing of His wisdom.
It is better to go to the house of mourning than to the house of feasting, not because sorrow is loved for itself, but because in the house of mourning we can hear every whisper of God. He often shuts our ears to His voice in mirth, but opens them in affliction. By nature the heart is hard as a nether millstone, but when God smites it, it is broken to pieces, and it is that broken heart He heals. No man who is once saved of God shall ever be lost, and when God heals once, He heals forever. That healing begins with forgiveness and then goes on to restore.
Let us pray together for you.
O Lord our God, look upon this sister in her brokenness and upon her husband in his infirmity. Thou knowest the burden of a house unsold these five months and the urgency that presses upon them. Grant mercy, grant strength for each day, grant healing according to Thy will, and grant help that comes from Thy hand alone. Forgive sin, speak peace to the soul, and let pardon be the sign that Thou art their God forever and ever. Provide a buyer in Thy perfect time, and if it be Thy will, do it speedily, yet give grace to wait and to trust while Thou workest. Let this house of mourning become a place where Thy voice is heard and Thy healing leaves fall thick upon them. Lift them from languishing, let them rise up and glorify Thee, and let all who hear say, we have seen strange things today, for Thou hast done wonders of grace. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and our Physician, Amen.
