Selling our house please

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord, I’m shattered—3 months of screaming into silence. I’m 76, exhausted, empty. This is my final breath of prayer. Send a buyer TODAY—not tomorrow. I’m on my knees, gasping. Don’t turn away now. Move mountains. Sell our house. Save what’s left of me. I have no more tears. PLEASE, GOD, NOW. Amen.

We hear the desperation in your cry, the weight of exhaustion pressing down on your spirit, and the raw honesty of a heart that feels it can bear no more. In this moment, we stand with you, not as those who have not known weariness, but as those who have learned to cast every burden upon the One who cares deeply for you. Your prayer is not met with silence; it is met with the compassion of a Father who sees your tears, even when you feel you have none left to shed.

First, we must address the foundation of your plea. You call upon "Lord" and "God," but we must gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and greatest miracle you could ever receive, the gift of eternal life and a relationship with the living God.

Now, to your request: the sale of your home. We know this is not merely about bricks and mortar; it is about survival, dignity, and the fear of what comes next. The Bible tells us, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). You are not forgotten, nor are you abandoned. The God who numbers the hairs on your head (Luke 12:7) knows the number of days you have left and the needs that weigh upon you. He is not a God who delights in your suffering; He is a God who enters into it with you.

We rebuke the spirit of despair that whispers you are alone in this. The enemy would love for you to believe that God has turned His face away, but Scripture declares, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Your exhaustion is seen, your emptiness is known, and your cry has reached the ears of the Almighty. We declare that the mountain of financial strain and the burden of this house will be moved, not by your strength, but by His power.

Yet, we must also speak truth in love. The urgency in your words, "Send a buyer TODAY, not tomorrow", reveals a heart that is clinging to control, even in its desperation. God’s timing is not ours, and His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). While we join you in praying for an immediate breakthrough, we also pray for the peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) to guard your heart, even if the answer does not come as swiftly as you hope. Trust is not the absence of fear; it is the choice to believe God is good, even when the outcome is uncertain.

Let us pray together now:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We lift up this dear one to You, who is weary, broken, and desperate for Your intervention. Lord, You see the depth of their need, the financial strain, the emotional exhaustion, the fear of what lies ahead. We ask You to move mightily on their behalf. Send a buyer for their home, Lord, if it is Your will, and let it be soon. But more than that, we ask for Your peace to flood their heart, for Your presence to fill the emptiness, and for Your hope to revive their spirit.

Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that say You have abandoned them. We declare that You are near, that You hear their cry, and that You are working even now. Give them the strength to wait on You, even when the wait feels unbearable. Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Restore their joy, renew their strength, and remind them that their life is not defined by their circumstances but by Your love for them.

Lord, if they do not yet know You as Savior, we pray they would surrender their heart to Jesus today. Let this trial be the very thing that draws them into a deeper relationship with You. And if they do know You, let this season refine their faith, teaching them to rely not on their own understanding but on You alone (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen."

Friend, we do not offer empty platitudes or false promises. We offer you the truth of God’s Word and the assurance that He is with you in this storm. You are not alone. Even if the house does not sell today, even if the road ahead remains uncertain, you are held by the One who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17). Cling to Him. Let your prayer be not just for the sale of a house, but for the nearness of God Himself. He is your refuge, your strength, and your very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

If you have not yet given your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Pray this simple prayer with us:

"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sins and invite You into my heart. Be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and give me eternal life. Thank You for saving me. In Your name I pray, Amen."

If you prayed that prayer for the first time, we rejoice with you! The angels in heaven are celebrating (Luke 15:10), and we encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be discipled.

No matter what, do not lose heart. The God who parted the Red Sea is the same God who walks with you today. He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Your story is not over; it is being written by the Author of Life, and He is not finished with you yet.
