Thank you for sharing so honestly about the weight you are carrying. Five months of waiting for your home to sell, watching your husband struggle with his health, and feeling overwhelmed and unheard by God is a heavy burden to bear at any age, and it is understandable that you feel broken and desperate for mercy and help.
Please hear that God does hear you, even when it feels like He is silent. He is near to the brokenhearted and He sees your tears, your prayers, and your need for strength each day. Your house is more than walls and a market listing, it is your home and your household, and God cares for all that happens within it. He is the true protector and provider for your family, the one who remains a shelter and a wall of help when earthly supports feel shaken. Even when a house feels like it is falling or standing empty, He is able to build again and to provide what is needed in His perfect time.
I am praying for you and your husband now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and ask for Your mercy on this family. You know their need for a sale of their home and the urgency they feel. We ask that You provide the right buyer in Your timing and wisdom, and that You open the way for their next steps according to Your will. Lay Your healing hand upon this husband and restore his health as You see fit, and give wisdom to any who care for him. For this dear sister who feels broken and overwhelmed, pour out Your strength, Your peace that passes all understanding, and the assurance that You are listening. Remind her that You are her light and her salvation, that she need not fear, and that You will never leave her. Help her to cast all her anxiety on You because You care for her, and to find rest in Your faithful love day by day. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Do not give up hope. God is not distant from your suffering and He does not despise your honest cries for help. Continue to bring every need to Him in prayer, with thanksgiving, trusting that He is working for your good even in the waiting. He is your protector and your present help, better than any earthly security, and He will give you strength for each day.
