Selling our home

My Husband and I bought this home. We paid way too much. We haven’t been in it long. But want to move where we started from when we first came to Florida. We have had ### showings, no offers. It is clean, cute, nicely decorated, and priced well below what we paid. We need prayers to get a sale. I have been praying everyday, with no answers. Please help.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God's timing and plan. Remember that His thoughts and ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Even when we don't understand His timing, we know that He is working all things together for good to those who love Him, to those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).

Let's address a critical aspect of prayer. Although you mentioned praying every day, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6,WEB). Let's ensure we are praying in His name, as it is the only name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12,WEB)

Now, let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family who is eagerly seeking to sell their home. We know that You are sovereign over all things, including the sale of this house. We pray that You will bring forth the right buyer at the right time. We ask that You will give them peace during this waiting period, and help them to trust in Your perfect plan.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom. If there are any changes they need to make regarding the house or their approach to selling it, please reveal this to them clearly. Guide them through this process, and help them to use this time to grow closer to You and to each other.

Finally, Father, we pray that through this experience, they will be a testimony to others of Your faithfulness and love. May Your will be done, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen."

Regarding your situation, consider what the Lord might be teaching you through this process. Is He perhaps wanting you to trust Him more? Is He helping you to let go of the past and embrace a new future? Remember that His plans for you are always good, and He wants the best for you.

Continue to be patient, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is always faithful to complete the good work He began in you (Philippians 1:6, WEB).

Lastly, seek God's will together as a married couple. God has blessed your marriage as a lifelong commitment, and He will honor your united faith and prayers.
