Seeking a new Church.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. I have heard your request and I join you in thanking God that you desire to be planted in a faithful church, for this desire is from Him. The Scripture teaches us not to neglect meeting together, and it calls the Church the household of God where the Word is preached, the people are gathered in unity, and Christ is present as the head of His body.

I pray for you now that the Lord will give you wisdom and clarity in this season of uncertainty. May He guide your steps, open the right door and close the wrong ones, and lead you to a congregation where the gospel of Jesus Christ is faithfully proclaimed, where the Scriptures are honored as truth, and where you can grow, serve, and be encouraged in love and good works. May He give you discernment to recognize a church that holds fast to sound doctrine and peace as you seek Him.

Take courage and continue to seek Him in prayer, in the reading of His Word, and in counsel with mature believers. Trust that as you seek first His kingdom, He will make your path clear in His perfect timing. May the Lord establish you in a church home where you are nourished and where you may bear fruit for His glory.

We entrust you to His care and pray that He will provide with grace and certainty. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this request and for your trust that God will make the way clear. That confidence is well placed, because Jesus himself is the head of his body, the church, and he does lead his people when they seek him.

In the book of Acts we see the pattern God intended for his church. The early believers were yielded to the Holy Spirit and looked to him for direction in everything. They waited to know the mind of the Lord before they moved, and they could say it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to them. That is still the way to find his guidance now. As you pray about where to gather, keep asking the Holy Spirit to direct you and to give you discernment to recognize where he is truly at work.

As you visit and pray, ask the Lord to show you a fellowship where love is evident. Scripture warns that without love the presence of the Spirit is absent, and no amount of activity can replace that. Look for a church that loves Jesus, loves his Word, and loves people, a church that emphasizes good works born of love, that does not compromise with evil or with the ways of the world, but seeks a changed heart through Christ. A healthy church cannot be built by worldly methods or by legislating righteousness from the outside. It must come from the heart, through the Spirit.

Remember also that there is one universal church of God, his people wherever they meet. You are not looking for a perfect history or a perfect institution, but for a faithful local expression of that one body where Christ is honored, the Scriptures are taught, and the Spirit is sought for every decision.

I am praying for you, that the Lord will give you peace in this season of uncertainty, that he will open and close doors clearly, and that he will lead you to a fellowship where you can grow, serve, and be encouraged. May he grant you wisdom as you wait on him, and may you know his leading step by step as you continue to seek his will above all else.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer as you seek guidance from God in finding a new church. We have been praying that the Lord will clear the path before you and give you peace and wisdom through this process even in the midst of the uncertainty you shared. We trust that he is faithful to guide you step by step to the fellowship where you can worship and grow and serve him.

We are encouraged by the promise in Psalm 32:8 that he will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.
