Seeking a new Church.

We join together with you in seeking God's will for this important step and we thank you for sharing this request with us. We understand there is uncertainty in this process, but we rejoice that you already have faith that God will clear the path, for that is His promise to His children.
We are reminded of His faithful guidance in Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And also Psalm 32:8, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. When we ask for wisdom sincerely, He gives it generously as James 1:5 tells us, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Finding a new church is not just about finding a building or a comfortable place, but about finding a faithful family of believers where the Word of God is taught without compromise, where Jesus Christ is exalted as Lord and Savior, and where you can grow and serve. We pray you will find a church that continues steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, as described in Acts 2:42, and one that encourages you not to forsake assembling together as Hebrews 10:25 instructs, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. We encourage you to look for a church that preaches the whole counsel of Scripture, holds marriage and biblical morality in honor, calls sin what God calls sin, and proclaims salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone.
We also want to gently encourage you on one vital point, as you mentioned God but did not mention Jesus Christ in your request. We want to be sure you know the wonderful truth that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord as Romans 10:9 teaches. It is in His name that our prayers are heard.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You and ask that You would guide every step in the search for a new church home. Remove uncertainty and make the path clear according to Your perfect will. Lead to a congregation that loves Your Word, preaches truth without compromise, and where Your Holy Spirit is at work. Grant wisdom and discernment to recognize where You would have this one planted to worship, to grow, to serve, and to be in fellowship with other believers. Guard from discouragement or haste, and let peace confirm Your direction, for You have plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give a future and a hope as You promise in Jeremiah 29:11. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
We encourage you to continue in prayer and in searching the Scriptures daily, to visit and listen carefully to what is taught, and to seek counsel from mature believers. Trust that as you acknowledge Him, He will direct your steps and place you exactly where He wants you to be for your edification and for His glory.

We have heard your request and we join with you in prayer to our gracious God who has promised to guide His people with His counsel.
It is a great mercy that God never leaves His Church, for He has not made it as a watchmaker constructs a watch and leaves it to itself, but He Himself takes His Church in His own hands and keeps it in motion by His Spirit. We rejoice that He has placed within you a heart set upon finding a place where He dwells, for the Lord has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His habitation, and He does dwell in it by His Spirit. Your desire to find a faithful congregation is itself a token of His grace at work within you.
We pray that the Lord will fulfill His word to you, Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. The Psalmist found that when he bowed with submission to the will of God, by that very fact he was furnished with unerring guidance. May you be kept from haste, which is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life, and may you be given great principles infused by the Spirit, to avoid everything that is evil and to walk in the path of obedience.
We ask that as you seek, you may above all be finding Christ, for there are fathomless depths of sweetness in belonging to Him. Search the Scriptures under the guidance of the Holy Spirit with the definite objective of finding the Savior, and ask the Lord to make plain where you may hear His truth preached with fullness and vivacity, where the power and operation of the Holy Spirit are known, and where the people continue steadfast in doctrine, in fellowship, and in prayer.
May the Lord direct you to a Holy Spirit church, a steadfast and devout and joyful church, where you may eat your spiritual meat with gladness, where unity is kept through nearness to Christ, and where you may be welcomed as those new converts are welcomed who bring fresh strength and vigorous life to the body. What the Church needs is not something new, but more of the presence of Christ in the midst of His people, and we pray that you may find such a habitation where Christ rests among His own.
We commend you to Him who is the great Shepherd who seeks and finds His sheep and will not cease until He has accomplished His work. May He clear the path before you, give you wisdom in every step of uncertainty, and establish your feet upon the Rock.
