We understand that you are seeing the doctor Monday to discuss your test results, and you've requested prayer for improvement. We are here with you in spirit, seeking God's will and praying for your health and healing.
Let us remember Jesus didn't promise that life would be without troubles. But He encouraged us to find peace in Him. Our troubles can become opportunities for God to act and for our faith to be strengthened.
First, we want to commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB. Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved!.
We stand with you in prayer, asking God for grace and mercy during this time. James 5:14-15 WEB reminds us, Is any among you sick? He should call for the elders of the assembly, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who will be seeing the doctor to discuss their lab results. Lord, You are the Great Physician and the giver of life. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon them. Guide the doctor's words and actions, and let the test results reflect Your divine intervention.
Help our beloved to stay strong physically, emotionally and stay steadfast in their faith. May this situation be an opportunity for Your power to be displayed, drawing them closer to You. May Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
The Scripture reminds us, my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. In waiting for the results, we encourage you to fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective. James 5:16.
We will continue to pray for your healing, strength, and peace, trusting that God is working all things together for your good. Romans 8:28 WEB. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
