Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, just like the rain and snow that come down from Heaven, and do not return without watering the earth, making it sprout and grow, Isa 55:10-11. Thank You that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last year, for our matrimonial, patriarchal and matriarchal figures, our progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17... We believe You and do not need to see results to know the game is fixed in Your favor, the devil is defeated, and "there is no pit so deep that Your Love, Grace and Mercy are not greater still," -- ### & ###, The Hiding Place.

Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as You brought about circumstances "assisting" the prodigal in Luke 15:15-17, and "hedged up" Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6, until she realized what she had lost, Hos 2:7....

In the meanwhile we are presently experiencing and enjoying Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, prayer partners, our pastors, leaders, officials, 1 Tim 2:1-2, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, Ps 119:3, evil people, 2 Tim 3:5, and the evil one John 17:15, by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more than we can ask or imagine, Eph 3:20, even great and mighty surprises of which we had no idea, Jer 33:3, things so exceedingly beyond any earthly exchange rate the comparisons are not even worth comparing, Rom 8:18, 2 Cor 4:14, 1 Pet 1:6-7, James 1:12. We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His sovereign work in planting seeds of truth and nurturing them according to His perfect will. Your prayer reflects a deep understanding of God’s Word and His relentless pursuit of hearts, including that of your wife, family, and all who have heard the gospel. We join you in standing on the promises of Scripture, trusting that the Lord who began a good work will complete it (Philippians 1:6).

The imagery of seeds in Mark 4 and the assurance of Isaiah 55:10-11 remind us that God’s Word never returns void. It is living and active (Hebrews 4:12), piercing hearts and convicting of sin, righteousness, and judgment through the Holy Spirit (John 16:8). We thank God for His patience, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). His kindness leads to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we pray that this kindness would be evident in the lives of those you’ve mentioned, drawing them to humility and restoration as seen in Daniel 4:34-37 and 2 Corinthians 7:9-11.

Father, we lift up this wife’s heart before You, asking that You would continue to water the seeds planted in her life. Bring godly men and women across her path who will speak truth in love, reflecting Your kindness and grace. Order her steps (Psalm 37:23) and direct her paths as You did for the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-31) and Saul (Acts 9:10-11). May she, like Nebuchadnezzar, come to her senses and acknowledge that You alone are sovereign, giving honor to whom honor is due (Daniel 4:37).

We also pray for your marriage, that it would reflect the covenant love of Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Strengthen your union as a testimony to God’s faithfulness, and guard it against any influences that would seek to undermine its sanctity. May your home be a place of peace, prayer, and mutual submission to one another in reverence for Christ (Ephesians 5:21).

Lord, we thank You for Your protection over this family, ministry partners, and all who serve You. Keep them from evil and deception (John 17:15), and grant them discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy. May they stand firm in the truth, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and may their prayers avail much as they seek Your face (James 5:16).

We rejoice in the assurance that You are always working (John 5:17) and that Your plans for us are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Even when we cannot see the results, we trust in Your unfailing love and the victory secured through Christ. Thank You for the hope of eternal glory, which far outweighs any present suffering (Romans 8:18).

Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Through Him, we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is in His name that we pray, believing that Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen" (2 Corinthians 1:20). May Your will be done in this situation and in all things, for Your glory and the advancement of Your kingdom. Amen.

Father, thank You for this husband’s faith and for the Scriptures that sustain him. We ask You to continue working in his wife’s heart, drawing her with Your kindness, opening her eyes to truth, and bringing her to genuine repentance and wholeness. Protect her from deception, and surround her with people who will speak Your love wisely. Grant this praying husband deep peace, and strengthen him to keep loving without trying to control what only You can do. We also lift up all the family members, friends, and leaders he mentioned; bring them into the fullness of Your salvation. We trust Your promise that Your Word will not return empty. How quick we are to baptize the trembling of the flesh with the name of the Spirit. The piercing that comes by judgment may carve a channel in the outward life, yet leave the inward heart as stone within. Many a soul has known the terror of the awakened conscience, the dread of consequence and shame, even the bitter tears of a moment’s sorrow, and yet has never tasted that repentance which is unto life. The sorrow that rises merely from the sight of the pit we have dug for ourselves, or the affliction we have brought upon our house, is but a carnal grief. It springs up in a night and withers in a night. Beware of a repentance which is hardly more than skin deep, which affects the surface but never rends the rock within.

True repentance, the repentance which is the Spirit’s own work and which God accepts, gives God the glory. It does not merely mourn the wages of sin, but loathes sin itself because it is hateful to the heart of Christ. It sets the sinner forever craving after holiness. When the Holy Spirit convinces of sin, He causes the soul to see that the evil is against a holy, loving, and bleeding Savior; and then the heart dissolves, not under the hammer of terror, but under the sweet influence of a blood-bought pardon. This is the heavenly enchantment that turns the flint into a fountain. Until the heart has come to this, we must not mistake the stirrings of natural anxiety for the work of grace.

Yet what hope there is for the one you have named before the throne, and for all who have heard the Word. The seed is not dead because it lies buried under the clods. The Lord of the harvest holds the times and the seasons in His own power. When the prodigal was yet a great way off, the father saw him. The old man’s long range of eye-sight beheld his poor son, ragged and ruined, before the prodigal knew he was observed. He did not wait to hear the full confession; the very first trembling step homeward was met by a heart that had been watching long. Even so, the Lord notes the faintest inclination to return, the first true softening, the first honest loathing of what was once loved, and He makes ready the robe, the ring, and the feast.

The hedges He plants and the husks He allows are often the instruments that assist the soul in coming to itself. Nebuchadnezzar, grazing like a beast, had to be brought to the end of his reason before he lifted his eyes to heaven and found his sanity restored. The same humbling hand that brings low is the hand that raises up. This is the merciful arithmetic of grace: He humbles before He restores. The stripping away of all false refuge, the blockage of every field that held no true harvest, is the Father’s strange kindness, driving the soul to say, “I will arise and go to my Father.”

When you cry to Him for this one’s return, you are praying according to the music of His own heart. He joys over the return of the prodigal, and all heaven shares in His joy. The fourfold “Return!” of the Song of Songs is on His own lips, and He sends it through your prayers as an echo of what He is already speaking. Take courage then; the Spirit’s convicting work is not a small, passing shower, but the very voice of One who calls back the Shulamite with an importunity born of undying love. You do not need to see the green blade yet to be sure that the soil of the soul has received the living Word. Pray on, and watch with expectation, for He who began that work is not a lax husbandman, He will carry it forward to completion until the day dawns when faith gives way to sight and the restored one knows what it is to be kissed with the kisses of His mouth, with overrunning comfort from the hand that once was laid so heavily upon her. The Lord grant such a repentance, full and lasting. Hold on in prayer, for the matter is fixed in the favor of our God, whose mercy is greater than any pit and whose grace can make the most desolate heart a garden of praise.

You pour out many words in prayer, and all of them are good, for the desire for a wife’s repentance is holy. But hear this: marriage is a bond ordained by God, and a harlot is a dissolving. Since she is still your wife, cling to what the Apostle says: “Art thou bound unto a wife? Seek not to be loosed.” Do not think that her unbelief or hardness gives you leave to sunder what God has joined. Rather, let your own life preach daily. “Follow peace with all men, and holiness”: that is, chaste and orderly living within marriage. If you live in purity, not defrauding her in love, your conduct may yet speak louder than any sermon.

Yet beware of a snare. You plead for her to come to repentance, and that is right, for God desireth all to be saved. But know that not every sorrow is true repentance. Esau wept bitterly, yet found no place for it, because the heart beneath was unchanged. True repentance is not tears alone; it humbles a soul, yields the fruit of a changed life, and turns from unrighteousness. Pray then that the Holy Spirit would not only wound her heart with godly grief, but also lead her to that wholehearted turning which crucifies the old man and makes no provision for the flesh. For if one tastes of the heavenly gift and then falls away, renewal is possible only through deep, genuine return, not by re-baptizing, but by a broken and contrite heart.

In the meantime, do not neglect your own soul while watching for hers. You call upon many Scriptures, yet see to it that you yourself live in all humility of mind, the mother of every virtue. If she delays in coming to her senses, persist in prayer, in charity, in patience. The patience of God is meant to lead to repentance; let it also lead you to gentleness. And if she returns, receive her not with suspicion but with the same mercy you crave.

Commend her to God, and leave the timing to Him. Your part is to live as a faithful steward, holding fast to the truth and not participating in any unrighteousness. The Lord will bring His work to completion; be at peace.

Your prayer is drenched in truth, and it echoes a deep trust in the quiet work of God. I’m stirred by how you’ve tied everything to His Word and the Spirit’s invisible hand, planting seeds, convicting of sin, drawing a heart back through circumstances that hedge up the wayward path until nothing makes sense except turning home. That’s no accident; it’s the kindness of God leading to repentance.

What happens in a heart is the real field of battle. Scripture tells us to guard our hearts with all diligence because everything, words, choices, the whole course of life, springs from that hidden place. And what we need most is not just changed behavior but a changed heart. God alone can do that inward surgery, cutting away the callousness and planting new loves, new desires. He promises to give a heart that actually wants to please Him. So when you pray for a still-current wife’s heart, you’re asking for exactly what He delights to do: to soften what’s hardened, to replace stone with flesh, to circumcise what has grown over with self-will until she can love Him with all of it again.

And don’t overlook what He is already doing in you. The yearning you carry for her restoration, the refusal to let bitterness take root, that itself is evidence of a work of the Spirit. God often plants His own desires within us so that we will what He wills. When He gives a burden like that, it’s not just a random ache; it’s a signal that He intends to act. He who began a good work will carry it to completion. That means you can keep praying with confidence, not because you see the outcome yet, but because the One who promised is faithful.

Humbling always comes before honor. The prodigal had to reach the pig trough before he came to his senses. The king in Daniel had his sanity stripped until he lifted his eyes to heaven. God knows how to use sorrow and loss to make the heart better, to clear out the nonsense that masquerades as freedom but is really slavery. It feels painful to watch, but it’s the path to genuine restoration. So let your prayer be free of any hidden demand to see results on your timetable. Your Father is working even now, and the Word He has sown cannot return void.

As you wait, guard your own heart from resentment. Jesus taught that hatred brewing inside is of the same root as murder, and lust in the imagination is adultery already. The enemy would love to use disappointment to plant a weed of bitterness. Instead, drink deeply from the well God has given you. Rejoice with the wife of your youth, even now, even in the ache, because the covenant is a living thing. God’s design for marriage is that a man find his satisfaction not in strangers or in fantasy, but in the fountain of his own wife. Let that faithfulness be a quiet, steady witness that may win more than any argument.

The Spirit’s internal witness testifies to the truth of Jesus, and He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. So your trust is not in a change you can manufacture but in the living God who knows how to capture a heart. Remember that the Father is patient, not wanting any to perish. Keep asking, keep believing in advance, and let His peace keep your soul steady. The harvest is sure, even if the sprouting is hidden underground a little longer.
